It was one of the only hotels in town and they offered more amenities in the room than similar hotels in larger cities! My double room had a safe for a start and free coffee was available in the lobby. English skills of the staff were also surprisingly decent, I’ve been told foreign tourists do come to this remote part of Hokkaido, which is nice to hear. Mystays have several branches around Hokkaido, worth consideration even if they command a slight price premium.

Stayed overnight while participating in a marathon. Correspondence of the front desk is kind. Breakfast was served from 6:30 and was good for runners. It was a business hotel with a hot spring bath that I would like to use again.

朝食はクチコミ通り美味しかったです。
部屋も綺麗でした。
大浴場もあるので、その点も良かったです。
男女で時間制の入替でした。
ホテルの周辺には飲食店もあるので、晩ご飯も困りませんでした。
レンタカーで名寄から宗谷岬まで寄り道しながら11時には着けました。
旭川からは1時間半くらいでした。

Thanks to the nice pillow, I could speep well. Public bath is available for hotel guests 15:00 through20:00 and 1:00 through9:00(men) and 21:00 through24:00(women) so you can enjoy it many times if you wish. but the bath itself has little opening near the ceiling so you cannot enjoy tiny gardens which normally their competitor offers
