Lake Buyoni Eco Lodge was a great place to spend a quiet day after many action filled days on our vacation. The island affords a nice nature walk viewing zebras and other animals, birds and plants. Our cabin had a front porch comfortable for reading, taking in the view and watching birds. The staff was attentive and the food good.

It's a comfortable place to stay with a beautiful view of the lake, transportation is easy and affordable. This is a place you would go and enjoy a wife rage of water birds, I enjoyed listening to all kinds of birds whistle, took better pictures of kinds of birds. It also made it easier to reach mugahinga national Park where we did gorilla tracking. It was such a a beautiful experience, come explore with us

Great relaxing time. We were the only guests. Food was very good as was the service. Rained on way to Island and the boat driver pulled over so we got sheltered, so kind. He also on the way back showed us the National bird sitting on her eggs. He showed us Punishment Island. Funny story. On our Island their is bunnies and a pair of Geese. We saw a lizard as well. Docks served us and made sure we we comfortable. She is a lovely and helpful person and does her job well. A wonderful stay

The resort is located in a very nice position but the services should be definetely improved. We perceived a lack of coordination of the staff, not really welcoming and organized. To mention some other examples: there is no light on the path to reach the lodges, the food quality both for dinner and breakfast was low. Overall, service not meeting the expectation.

Eine ruhige Oase und die perfekte Insel zum Ausspannen nach intensiven Safari-Erlebnissen. Es gibt viel zu unternehmen (Kanu fahren, Birdwatching, Besuche bei Batwa Communities) oder man entspannt sich beim Blick auf die faszinierenden und wechselnden Stimmungen über dem See. Einziger Minuspunkt ist das Angebot an vegetarischem Essen, das nicht sehr abwechslungsreich ist. Das freundliche Personal geht aber auf individuelle Wünsche ein.

This eco resort is located on one of the islands in Lake Bunyonyi. just a short boat ride to get there. The rooms are quiet and you can watch the birds from your balcony. The staff are friendly and helpful and knowledgable in local birds and wildlife. you can take a canoe or motor boat onto the lake to see other islands and area. Definitely nice to stay here. rooms are clean and spacious with walk in showers.

Hotel molto bello, camera spaziosa e confortevole…cibo nella norma, nulla di eccezionale… poteva essere meglio se fosse stato caldo… purtroppo tutto freddissimo, dalla zuppa alla carne , purea e contorni.. peccato… servizio molto freddo… i camerieri fanno fatica a guardarti… il posto e anche carino, con un po’ più di cortesia sarebbe ancora meglio…

I slept in this lodge tw only one night but I totally loved it and I wished I could stay longer. You can do so many activities from walking in the island, rowing in a boat or swim in the lake. The view is amazing it feels unreal. The food is buffet I totally recommend it !

Okay so first you have to take a boat to get to the island/resort. The boat was fun and you get to see the beautiful scenery. Once you get there you have to walk quite a bit uphill but it was welcomed after a long car ride. The resort was super nice with large and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was very tasty with a coffee and fruit buffet. Wifi worked pretty well in the restaurant/lounge. They also have a variety of activities to book from nature tours to boat tours. There’s also some zebra and other hoof stock on the island!
