Difficult one to review as some parts were very good others were very poor We stayed here in October, which was towards the end of the season. We stayed in a suite as we wanted access to the A La Carte restaurant on a daily basis. Sadly this did not happen! On check in we were advised the A La Carte restaurant was closing the day after we arrived and we would have to dine in the main buffet restaurant but could dine from the ALC menu. The first night was awesome. The ALC restaurant service was good, bread delivered to table, could choose from various wines and bar drinks that were served to us at table and staff were very attentive. Perfect ! Then came the experience of dining in the buffet restaurant. We were not impressed but went with it. On arrival we asked where we sit for the ALC dining and we’re told anywhere. We were then given some menus and We asked to order some drinks as we were ALC diners and we got told go to the bar and get your own. This is not what we paid for when we booked and not were we told the ALC restaurant was closing. I did complain to hotel management and they didn’t then section a part of the main restaurant off for us to dine in and also reinstated our drinks being served to us. Another challenge for me was that at the pool bar it states you have access to Asian inspected food. No food was available as any pool bar apart from a few filled rolls/baguettes. Again disappointing The bar drink were relatively good quality but they service of the drinks was shockingly poor. They were 99% of the time served in paper coffee cups as they had run out of the Perspex glasses. On occasion you were lucky if you got one and in the end we kept our Perspex glasses and would go to the toilet to was it and ask them to put our drinks in these. Who wants to drink a cocktail out of a coffee cup. Room was good and service was excellent. Some staff were great (ALC Manager, Pool Bar Staff, Driver to Airport) and others not so (Concierge tad rude as they had to bring us an ice bucket and almost launched it through the doorway) Overall if the restaurant was open as booked and they were not polluting the planet with paper coffee cups I’d have given a better score and hotel management should act

Fantastic little gem! Very clean and up to date with good service! Friendly staff, great food and all the amenities! Beach was great! Lots of families with young kids, but the kids club was packed because it was so good!

I enjoyed my stay at Potidea Palace as this was my second year. Compare to the prior year this time I was not as impressed with the service. I called multiple times for our mini fridge that was not working and had my kids medication that needed refrigerated but no one stopped by to check it. The room sheets were not changed for the whole stay but the room was fixed everyday. Also, we scheduled an appointment for our complimentary spa but the first appointment their pool was not ready and had to reschedule for the next day which was no problem for us but we had the same issue the pool was half full and was dirty. We decided to cancel it and did not go back. The thing that we enjoyed the most more than the prior year was the night entertainment and the many activities that they had for the kids of different ages. My boys participated in many of the activities such as water polo, basketball, soccer (football) and their activity team this year was the best and will definitely miss them. They made our stay wonderful and my kids can’t stop talking of how much fun they had.

The hotel alone has everything needed for an enjoyable and relaxing stay, The hotel was always clean and the pool was immaculate. The private beach was just an added bonus to an already fantastic resort. But the main reason for this hotel being so good is the people involved at this hotel. The bar staff are kind and they were an absolute pleasure to meet. A special mention to Sofia who mainly worked on the pool side bar who was such an amazing person to have met who makes the best iced coffees and Caipiroskas in Europe. Nina as well when around the resort was always very friendly and polite every time we interacted. Another special mention to all of the Pathos group and the activities and entertainment they provided. Honorable mentions to Vaidas who is good at every sport even when he will say he is just lucky, Anastasiia for believing in me winning a diploma and the Greek Slim Shady for an amazing duet of Stan on my final day. We stayed for 10 days in September. We had booked an economy road view room through EasyJet but on arrival we were informed that we had been upgraded to a Deluxe Garden View, this was much appreciated. The room was very big and modern with and Nespresso machine, kettle with tea bags and milk. There was a small fridge that had beer, soft drinks and water that were replace daily. It had a lovely big bathroom with a walk in shower and good quality toiletries. The food in the buffet restaurant was good and with so much choice, we have never seen so many different types of salad. There was always a great selection of hot mains, Tuesday night they seemed to do a Chinese theme which we thought was the best night. The deserts were marvelous but the ice cream was awful, it had an odd gluy texture and we only tried it once. The restaurant had red and white wine out of a machine and it was not very nice, we ended up getting wine from the beach bar and taking it into the restaurant. There was no lunchtime snack bar as you have to eat in the buffet, which was no good for us as we made pigs of ourselves. We did try the A la cart restaurant which you have to pay 25 Euros per person, but this is for as much food and drink as you want. The food was excellent and it was nice to be waited on. The bars has a good choice of cocktails, which my wife and myself tried most of them. Also, they had branded spirits at not extra cost. The beach is lovely, with clear blue water and the beach staff work hard straightening out the beds, cleaning up the glasses and rubbish. The only criticism was that the sun beds are too close together and with the wooden walkways between the rows it made it difficult to either get shade or stay in the sun the whole day. We did not think that the entertainment was very good and because the hotel is a bit isolated you could not very easily go out for the evening to avoid it. Although, the sister hotel next door, put on a light, fountain, fire, laser show four nights a week, we was saw two of them, different both times. Do not miss. Under the Mini Market there is a wine cellar with free wine tasting, the sommelier was very informative and told us all about the different wines from the different regions of Greece. We tried seven different wines and bought a very nice bottle of white after the hour tasting session. Do not miss this either!! As there is very little in the immediate area, we hired a car for the day in the reception and drove around the first arm, Kassandra. We found a quaint village, Afytos which had old world charm with cobbled streets and was the highlight of our day. Although the hotel was lovely, when we go back to Halkidiki we would probably stay in Sithona (second arm) and see something different.

We went to this hotel from 9-20 September 2023. The hotel is excellent. It’s small but compact. All the hotel staff was the absolute best, especially the massage and spa staff. They were Irini (the best one)Anni Caren an Cristina. The cocktails in the bar were perfect compared to other hotels we visited. The people working in the bar were really good.Efrim and his brother Christina and all staff from bar. The food was very diverse and everyday we had something different. The beach was jaw dropping and the people working on the beach were very hard working. We thank the big managerAlberto so much for doing everything for us and especially for my birthday because he made it a very special day. We recommend this hotel to all our friends and we hope to return there again with all our family. See you soon. Thank you Viorica and Ion

Have just returned from a 10 day stay we were a party of 4 as 2 couples The hotel itself is on a main road with a lot of graffiti on the roadside leading to it so we did wonder where we were going, however once inside the hotel is really nice and I guess a beach resort is the best way to describe it . We had booked Deluxe Garden view rooms however in all honesty we had no view at all from our rooms except for a hedge and tree which were right up against the balcony making it dark and oppressive, there was never any real sun or warmth on it so we didn’t feel able to sit out there at all … beyond the hedge was literally the hotels service road so quite noisy in the mornings and often the smell of diesel fumes etc so this wasn’t the garden view we were expecting! On reflection we should have probably asked for different rooms but after we unpacked really couldn’t face a move, we did feel slightly irritated as a couple who checked in with us complained they didn’t want the economy room road view they booked so the hotel upgraded them at no cost to the same type of room as ours with a far better view The food is some of the best we have ever experienced in AI hotels, lots of variety, generally hot food was hot and salads fantastic … Desserts get rather repetitive and very much same every day and no provision of any sugar free alternatives that we have had in many other AI As a new diabetic the only drinks available to me were sparkling water or Diet Coke ( and no Diet Coke available in the restaurants drink machines) Many hotels have now changed to offering Fanta and Sprite sugar free drinks … we discussed this with the manager and he very kindly got in for me Sprite Zero both at the bars and in our room mini bar which opened up so many more options for me!! Unfortunately it did take 5 days to actually get it but we were offered a voucher for a dinner to be taken in the Al la Carte restaurant which was much appreciated and the food excellent All the staff are friendly and helpful especially Sofia and Christina at the Pool Bar The animation team work really hard to keep you entertained etc The light show at the neighbouring sister hotel Pomegranate is not to be missed you can either walk along or the helpful concierge will take you in the golf carts There was no problem getting sun beds either by the pool or on the beach. The beach sun beds are rather close together and could be better if a little more space between them They market this hotel as a beautiful Sandy beach … it has sand but an awful lot of pebbles and stones too and this made getting into the sea not as easy as we hoped. The biggest drawback of this hotel for us is it’s location, there is no local bus service and no where to really walk to of any real interest from the hotel! We do like to be somewhere we can explore and look at local crafts or souvenirs We got a taxi to the nearby town of Neo Moudania which was very nice on market day to wander about but just not enough

Amazing stay! 100% recommend this resort. I had a wonderful stay with my husband and daughter. Could not fault a thing. We had a room with a lovely view, service was great, room was cleaned daily, food was superb, view is amazing and literally right next to the beach. We will be booking to go next year. Could not ask for anything more. Perfect for families and so much space.
