Serene spot just outside heidelberg, well connected to city centre by frequent buses and a cycle way....been here several times, uber friendly, luxurious feel, but still unpretentious. Planning to keep coming back. Close to forest trails, riverside cycle way, shops and restaurants in village 200m from hotel. Well looked after, clean, spacious rooms, good breakfast with veggie option, river views, car park, wifi....

Even if this hotel is on the main street, this is very quiet. had rooms to the street and nothing. Although the rooms have come into the day, they have everything you need and everything works smoothly. Wi-Fi and TV without problems, cozy bathroom with shower and a great breakfast. Nix to make! By the stairs and the unexisting chair this hotel is unfortunately not accessible.

Wir haben das Hotel zum Entspannen und wegen der tollen Aussicht gebucht.. Es gab viel Schönes aber auch einige Dinge,die verbessern könnte.. zunächst die positiven Sachen.. Das Panoramazimmer war schön ,komfortabel and sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Die Austattung war sehr gut.. Das Bett sehr bequem und hoch. Was besonders war,dass wir zwei Fenster hatten,da wir das letzte Zimmer hatten(Raum 221).. Die Aussicht war ebenso wunderbar.. Wir haben abends an der Bar Cocktails getrunken,die ebenso sehr gut waren. DerService hier war auch sehr nett. Weiterhin fanden wir die gebuchte Sauna für eine Stunde sehr angenehm. Wir hatte zwei Nächte gebucht und am zweiten Abend einDreigangmenü. Die Qualität war hier richtig gut. Das Essen war auch gut angerichtet und gut geschmeckt. Das gesamt Hotel ist schön gestaltet und gemütlich . Checkout war schnell/unkompliziert und freundlich .. Das Frühstück war ok aber für 20€ kenne ich das tatsächlich weitaus besser. Diese Sachen fand ich nicht gut 👎.. Der Checkin war ok aber hätte freundlicher sein können .. Der Herr konnte nur schlecht deutsch. Infos bezüglich wo ist das Frühstück..wie funktioniert das mit der Sauna.. musste man sich selbst erfragen. Der sog Hotelmanager,der ebenso anwesend war,war ebenso nicht freundlich und wirkte sogar teilweise arrogant. Das Zimmer war wie oben beschrieben zwar schön aber es hätte an einigen Stellen sauberer sein können ( Flecken an der Balkontür/vergilbter Vorhang/Staub/Haare unter dem Bett.. billiger und schmutziger Fön,der nicht zum Rest passt.. Shampoo ( kostet 19€ ist also hochwertig) passt nicht so ganz. Beim Frühstück nur Kaffee aus der Kanne,kein Automat. Auswahl zu gering ..Für Veganer kein Angebot. Beim Abendessen ebenso Personal,was einem nicht sagen konnte,was es als Menü gab und das nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen. Personal konnte kaum deutsch. Das muss/könnte besser sein. Auch beim Frühstück hat uns niemand vom Personal gefragt ,ob wir Kaffee möchten. Das finde ich nicht gut. Ich finde eben Service und Freundlichkeit wichtig… Schade.. Dennoch empfehle ich das Hotel aufgrund seiner Lage..

Ideales Hotel für eine Stadtbesichtigung von Heidelberg, da das Hotel mitten in der Altstadt liegt. Man kann mit dem Auto durch die Fußgängerzone vor das Hotel zum Entladen fahren (durch viele Touristen hindurch…); das Personal weist dann den Weg zum öffentlichen Parkhaus P12, das fußläufig nur wenige Minuten vom Hotel entfernt liegt. Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und bot alles, was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt benötigt. Auch das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Service des Hotels: ich habe das Aufladegerät für meine Zahnbürste vergessen und das Hotel hat mir dieses per Post nach Hause geschickt.

In an ancient building, dining room has white arched ceiling , lots of rooms, quite elegant. WE wanted a slow lunch to avoid the rain - and succeeded. Table layout upmarket. Food excellent, it was schnitzel week, so we all indulged. Good wines. Not as massively expensive as one might guess from the appearance. Young waiters struggled a bit, and mis-served us once; but lots of smiles and our poor German did the trick

Facilities: Facilities are very good, breakfast is on the second floor Hygiene: This is not good evaluation. Very good, except for a small bug crawling on my hand, maybe because I live near the road and the beach and the floor is low. Environment: very good Although small, beautiful scenery and unique location Service: The front desk is very, very cute

The surrounding environment is very good, the room is not too big, the entrance is the cloakroom and the kitchen, and then the living room, inside the bedroom is connected to the bathroom, there are shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, slippers, hot water bottle, and two free bottles of Saint Pellegrino. But the hotel does not have a parking lot. The clerk will drive a golf cart to take you to the public parking lot and then drive you back. The parking lot is 1 km away from the hotel.

I think this is a Hotel that could be easily overlooked. It is on top of a parking garage. But once you take the elevator to the hotel it looks nothing like the dingy and grimy outside of the parking garage. It is most welcoming decorated. The hotel staff was very friendly and english is no problem (I wouldn't be surprised that even other languages are spoken by the staff). Our room was very clean and had a great view of the castle and some of the historic buildings surrounding the hotel. The breakfast had a great selection of German cold cuts, fruit, cheese and many other things. The close proximity to the middle of town and to the Funicular to the castle (and the Christmas markets) makes this a great pick. I will makes this my hotel of choice when I return to Heidelberg.

The hotel is located directly in the old town and it can be reached at foot. The next parking house is also reachable in three minutes. Telephone contact and also the reception is uncomplicated and very friendly. Our room, Katmandu, was very spacious under the roof, beautiful and with air conditioning. What is very practical because the central location of the night makes you have to count on noise and let it out with closed windows. The bathroom was small but sufficient and the washing area was outside the bathroom in the room. What did not disturb us but here, unfortunately, was a towel holder. Breakfast was ”Corona-related” enough and good! My recommendation not to book via hotel portals but contact the hotel directly.
