Our party of seven checked in late at 2am. At 8.30am we were all rudely awakened by heavy drilling directly above us. I went down to speak to reception. I was rudely told that it was out of their hands and not their problem! No apology and neither would they ask the workmen to reduce the noise until a little later. I asked to speak to the manager and was informed that there was no manager onsite. The receptionist was extremely rude and made no attempt to rectify the situation in anyway. There was no offer off a late checkout, a refund, free breakfast, apology or an attempt to contact the manager. I wasn’t even advised on how to complain. After returned to the reception there was a number of people also complaining. If this is their idea of customer service then I’d avoid.
