I stayed from 30th to 1st January in a Superior room. The hotel is in an excellent position overlooking Bergamo, the rooms are refined and elegant. I cannot say I am fully satisfied for the reasons I will list below, based on my personal experience, considering what I paid and received. 1) Once we arrived at the reception we were greeted by Fabio who quickly explained the hotel's opening hours and spaces, unfortunately forgetting something that would later be unpleasant (and I will explain to you in another point), we didn't have anyone waiting after us and I We found everything a bit rushed, so rushed that after saying goodbye we asked him if he could give us the keys to the room, which in any case made us smile, without any problem. 2) Spacious, beautiful, well-kept, warm room, welcome chocolates. We realize that there are no bathrobes to be able to go to the spa. It can happen for goodness sake. I call the reception saying that there are no bathrobes to be able to go to the spa and, I assume Fabio, tells us that he will have them brought to the room immediately. About ten minutes pass and he calls back asking if the bathrobes were actually missing. I am shocked and tell him that they are missing, that I searched carefully before calling and that I couldn't find them. At that point the bathrobes arrive. I honestly didn't understand why we should call back to ask if we really hadn't found them. It's something that honestly bothered me. 3) Before going out I find a bug on the wall. No problem, I'll take it and throw it out. A few minutes pass and I find another bedbug, I take it and throw it out. A few minutes pass and I find an ant. We are in the mountains, it can happen if they left the windows open to let the air change, it's not a problem, it can happen, even if the third animal I threw out I prayed not to find any more... :) 4) Small, nice spa , unfortunately very noisy. It's clear that if customers don't keep a low tone of voice it's not the hotel's fault, but I would have appreciated some signs inviting silence and relaxation or some steps from the staff to calm down some rather noisy souls. 5) We ask if it is possible to receive the welcome complimentary welcome cocktail in the room but we are told by the good Igor (a very professional and prepared person) that all the forces at that moment, between 6pm and 7pm on December 31st, are used to the New Year's Eve dinner and that it is not possible to deliver it to the room. It's not a problem for us, who go down and drink it in the bar, although from a 4 star hotel I expect, even though it's New Year's Eve (for which you pay a good amount more) it shouldn't be affected in the hotel stay. 6) New Year's Eve dinner. I didn't mind at all, well organised, excellent dinner, good selection of wines at the right price, excellent entertainment. The only sore point is that you had to leave the hotel because it was located in a structure 400 meters away
