The Carriage House B&B

We very much appreciated the beautiful breakfast in the morning, the beach chairs and bicycles! It was very quiet, our room number 23 was nicely decorated though the bed was as hard as a rock and very high off the floor and it was a double bed, not a queen. We have stayed at the sister properties and throughout the day they had various snacks and candy bowls, we did miss that here! Ocean Grove is beautiful...❤

Very well maintained property and premises. The property manager and the owner were helpful. Breakfast was really good. Location was great.

Welcome was excellent. The rooms were darling( as our English guest noted) and we enjoyed the bikes. The staff gave us great restaurants recommendations and were helpful in any way. The breakfast was spectacular and although we stayed one night only, we are sure to come back.

Love the atmosphere, food and that its walkable to everything in Ocean Grove and Asbury Park.

Gorgeous, beautiful hotel in a Victorian house. Wonderful breakfast with homemade frittata, french toast, chocolate brioche, muffins, avocado toast and more. All served with beautiful china in a lovely dining room. Charming and comfortable.

This is truly a special beach town, a special b&b, with a special person running it! Cathy is so wonderful, warm, responsive, and truly cares about the individual experience while people are there. With there being so few b&b's in this small town, & this being one of the only that has had recent upgrades, Carriage House is the place to stay. What I would say to ownership, bc I know this is beyond Cathy's control, is that it's time for new bikes. I understand salty air, rust, etc, but many of the bikes are just run down & need replacing. As well for ownership: hyper-focusing on mattress quality & replacing when needed, when your staff can tell that they've gotten too soft, making sure maintenance is regularly checking drainage, doing checks around the rooms. Cathy is so busy with check-in/outs, running the lobby & also there will be people who forget to mention little things, ownership should be on top of this as well, so she can do what she does best--deal with people. Can't wait to visit again & I'll see you soon XO

We really needed a little get away and this place fit the bill. Very clean and recently painted, it was extremely comfortable, and Cathy the Manager really made us feel welcome and taken care of.

This B and B is the best! The innkeeper is so sweet and the rooms are so comfy. I wish it hadn’t been raining so that we could have enjoyed the balcony and beach but it was still an amazing trip. Will definitely stay again if I ever find myself in Ocean Grove

We had a wonderful stay. The manager was great. Breakfast was terrific. The room was cozy and clean. Very close to the beach. Will definitely start again. We love to come down just for the sunrise. It was so nice to have a comfy place to spend the night!
