Siamo tornati dopo diversi anni per festeggiare un anniversario di matrimonio. Siamo rimasti stupiti dalle stanze che sicuramente non sono all’altezza del prezzo richiesto e del ristorante dove quattro anni fa si mangiava veramente bene (il piacere di mangiare qui valeva la pena di un viaggio). Oggi la famosa pasta alla Nerano che li ha resi famosi al ristorante da Pappone (nome del ristorante dell’albergo)viene servita insipida ed i prezzi del ristorante sono veramente esagerati (sembra che hanno messo un nuovo chef e la proprietaria non cucina più - fa solo i dolci) per la qualità fornita (due insalate capresi con fior di latte e non mozzarella e due macedonie di fragole 45 euro). Non ci torneremo e ci dispiace veramente.

Struttura classica, a gestione familiare, una delle poche aperte tutto l'anno a Nerano. Le stanze sono ampie e comode, arredate in maniera deliziosa, alcune con piccolo terrazzo vista mare con tavolino e sedie; sono inoltre dotate di ogni confort: letto king-size, cuscini alti e bassi, riscaldamento un po' rumoroso ma potente, bagno con vasca molto ampio, 2 sdraio in dotazione. Colazione ricca in cui non manca nulla: dal dolce (cornetti, brioche, torta caprese) alla frutta e al salato (caciottina e salame locali). L'ospitalità dei proprietari è discreta ma cordialissima. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo in bassa stagione. Complimenti.

My husband surprised me by organising a short break for our anniversary to the Amalfi coast and booked the Hotel La Certosa for our stay. What a wonderful little gem it was too, located directly on the waterfront with breathtaking views. The hotel was absolutely immaculate and we were immediately welcomed with warmth by the lovely staff. Not only was everyone generous with their time and knowledge of the area but extremely kind and we felt part of the family for our short time with them. The bedroom was exactly what we needed and as for the food in their amazing restaurant, well outstanding, delicious and plentiful. We would highly recommend the Hotel La Certosa and we shall most definitely be returning. Thank you to all for making our holiday wonderful. Simon & Jemma

We loved this place! Initially we were surprised to learn how far Massa Lubrense is from Sorrento but then we were relieved upon arrival. It was far superior to the touristy overload of Sorrento. A lovely small coastal town with all you need right there. The hotel itself was perfect. Staff great. Highly recommend.

This place doesn’t have the prettiest rooms but it’s super clean and located in a great location. The restaurant in the hotel itself was amazing and there are like 10 other amazing restaurants within walking distance. One has a Michelin star. All the restaurants serve Spaghetti Alla Nerano which the area is popular for serving. You can get to Capri, Almalfi, Positano, and Sorrento right off the dock on the beach. plus the hotel is right on the beautiful beach. We will be back again.
