Der Corona-Lockdown war gerade zu Ende, und wir wollten ein Wochenende im bayrischen Wald verbringen. Mit uns hatten viele die gleichen Ideen, insofern waren wir froh, noch ein Zimmer buchen zu können. Bisher waren wir noch nicht in diesem Landgasthof abgestiegen. Der check-in war reibungslos, das Zimmer geräumig mit Zugang zur Dachterrasse, in warmen Holztönen gehalten, alles sehr sauber und zweckmäßig. Das Zimmer lag nach hinten, kein Lärm von der Straße, Übernachtung mit offenem Fenster möglich. Die Matratzen waren uns ein bisschen zu weich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, vielseitiges Angebot, Eierspeisen wurden frisch zubereitet, sehr aufmerksam und freundliches Personal, was trotz der noch bestehenden Beschränkungen durch die Corona Pandemie geduldig mit den Gästen umging. Das Buffet wurde auch aufmerksam aufgefüllt. Der check Out war ebenfalls schnell und unkompliziert. Eine Klingel an der Rezeption wäre hilfreich. Leider verfügt das Hotel noch nicht Über Ladestationen für Elektroautos, auch im ganzen Ort sucht man vergeblich danach. Dies ist sicherlich auch eine Anregung an den Bürgermeister... Wir werden wiederkommen!

Overall, the stay was pleasant and it is a very nice hotel/restaurant. The stuff are friendly and helpful, the only disappoint thing was the brkfast. I was told the brkfast start at 730am. But when I planned to get brkfast next morning, even after 8am, there was no brkfast setup. Which is upsetting as I have early morning business seminar/training session for a straight 5 hrs without break, and expected to have a good brkfast before I start the day.
If there will be no brkfast due to some special event, I would expect the hotel stuff to tell me when I checked in so I can buy something ahead of time for next day. Instead, I was told brkfast will be ready at 730am next morning but at the end, nothing.

… wird auch im Euler. Ein heisser Sommertag im kleinen Biergarten, mit überschaubarer Karte. Immerhin: neben den Standardgerichten findet man Moderneres, schöne Salad bowls und Vegetarisches. Schon besser als das übliche Einerlei in den Gasthäusern rundum, bei angemessene Preisen. Auffallend ist der wirklich perfekte, aufmerksame, freundliche Service! Ich wähle das Tagesgericht, Wildbratwurst, eine Soße aus Apfel und Preißelbeere und Kartoffelsalat mit Feldsalat. Vielleicht war ich nicht hungrig genug an diesem heißen Tag. Ich fand die Würstchen nichtssagend, den Salat lieblos. Zermatschte Scheiben neben dicken Kartoffelstockes in fader Marinade, nicht durchgezogen, nicht abgeschmeckt, ohne Zwiebel. Dafür aber Feldsalat, der - wohl unter die noch warmen Kartoffeln gehoben - zusammengefallen war. Ja, man konnte es essen. Ein Biergartengericht halt. Aber liebes Euler - das war unter eurem Niveau!

Es gibt kaum etwas zu verbessern. Traditionelle nicht abgehobene qualitativ hochwertige Küche. Service und Personal freundlich, zuvorkommend, schnell. Die neu errichteten Woidhäusl sind modern konzipiert mit Bezug zur Regionalität incl. Whirlpool und Sauna. Last but not Least: Das Frühstück bietet eine Fülle und Qualität wie man sie nur noch sehr selten erlebt. Alles in Allem: Top!
