We booked the stay in the hotel through the platform “booking” trusting the seemingly good reviews, but we now understand why there are few bad ones: when there’s a problem they force their guests to cancel the reservation so that they can’t leave negative comments. When we arrive they insist us on paying in cash for everything, trying to sell us all different kinds of tours. That same day, we ask them if we could leave our luggage after our check out two days later because we were leaving Göreme late at night - they assure us they will store our things. The room we were given was dirty, hairs from previous guests were all over the floor and there were stains on the sheets, on top of holes in the wall and a dusty, extremely old and nasty bathroom. When we got a hold of the boss, he assured us he would change our room the day after and that he understood the problem, but no offer to clean our room. Surprise surprise, when we come back from our tour - booked with them! - on the day after, they inform us they will not change our room but they insist on giving us back our money only if we cancel our reservation on Booking, telling us they have done it before with other guests. It was 10 pm, so we accept and stay there for one more night and they, effectively, refund our money. The day after, when checking out, they tell us they won’t be storing our luggage because they have done everything they could for us and don’t feel like they want to do it. Overall the worst experience we’ve had in Turkey. Do not fall for the booking pictures or the good comments, there are much better places in town.

The room was perfect. The staff are also very nice. I would nevertheless spend my holiday again there.
