The breakfast was good and the rooms and other facilities and amenities were very clean. The room was spacious although the bathroom was a little cramped. I’d definitely stay here again when i’m in town!

An older hotel nicely renovated and conveniently located to downtown New Bern, highway access, and shopping. Hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast bar was OUTSTANDING, best we've experienced in many years of traveling-well supplied and well managed. Will stay here the next time we travel to New Bern.

I was in town for a meeting . My coworker and I had to facilitate a workshop so we came in a day earlier. David was working the desk. He was very friendly, helpful and extremely professional. Our organization paid for the room in advance. He helped get the authorization needed so I could check in. He gave suggestions on where to have dinner and directions to the store so I could get materials for the meeting. I was glad they picked this hotel and look forward to going back.

The staff was extremely attentive and the breakfast was very nicely cooked with great options for all of us. Though the rooms could use a little updating for carpet/deep clean, it was clean and comfortable. It was a convenient location to historic downtown.

The staff was very friendly and the welcome was outstanding. The best experience at a hotel in many years and I travel a lot. Highly recommend this hotel as they will take of you during your stay. Was greeted with some water and then the room had a personal welcome and greeting to it. Thank you for your hospitality and we look forward to returning soon.

I loved this hotel. Everything was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The kitchen manager, Miss Lily, is an absolute gem. I had a question and she not only answered it, but gave me a tour of the kitchen. (Which was immaculately clean, by the way). She was the highlight of our stay. The hot breakfast is very good and items are different each day.
I loved the room, the bed was very comfortable, and the layout was excellent. It had everything we needed. The hotel was quiet.
I really enjoyed being able to get coffee anytime i wanted, and it was GOOD coffee.
I'm in New Bern a few times a year and will stay here again.

Such friendly staff. David in the morning and the 2 Anthonys in the evening go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. Clean room, comfortable bed and quiet at night. Great climate control. Nice shower, although the layout is odd. I always appreciate the room desk at Springhill. I find it easy to work at and am glad to not see my work when in bed. I also enjoy having the sink, microwave, mini fridge bar area. At this Springhill they even left a dish tower – much appreciated. Breakfast was very good and the woman managing the area was nice and kept the area clean. The hotel is in a safe area with a lot of restaurants, stores, and gas stations around. Parking was a challenge; they must have been full the night I stayed. Never got to try any of the amenities.

Overall Stay was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very disappointed in the rooms being so outdated. Carpet in the rooms is very dirty looking. I will say guest services was so helpful and the breakfast was great. The main lobby was updated so maybe the rooms will be next.
