We had a very pleasurable stay at the Benjamin Ellis B&B. The location was great with easy parking. It's within walking distance to local attractions, and restaurants. The house and rooms were clean and were well maintained. The bed was super comfy. The breakfast was excellent, with all the little extra touches. I just wished we could have stayed longer. We will come back when we visit New Bern again. Thanks Again Gretchen & Tracy !!

This B & B was fantastic. The hosts were wonderful. Great breakfast to get your day started. Rooms were very nice and clean. Location was great, just park your vehicle and walk to all the sites and restaurants. Will definitely be coming back. Enjoyed the spacious front deck.

Gretchen and Tracy were very accommodating. The room was nice, the temp was controlled individually by room so that was lovely. Breakfast was good. Self serve coffee and tea all the time. Snacks and fresh baked cookies available as well.

Lovely old home, with modern amenities. All was clean, comfy, and the mood of another era has been well-preserved. I wished we could have stayed a whole week!

We have stayed at the Benjamin Ellis multiple times over the years and always enjoy our time there. The location is convenient to local restaurants and shopping, the rooms are private and the atmosphere is perfect for a cozy, weekend getaway. Gretchen and Tracy are amazing hosts! I've stayed at the Benjmain Ellis House B&B multiple times and it never fails to be a delight! There were lovely, warm holiday decorations and such a welcoming atmosphere. The breakfasts were excellent, and my dietary needs were deliciously accommodated. The B&B is in a great location - the New Bern downtown historic district is a short walk. I highly recommend the Benjamin Ellis House - you won't be disappointed.
