Best Hotels near Family Britches, New Castle

The hotel looks old, but it is well maintained and belongs to the HILTON hotel. The room has no way to open the window, it is a bit wet. The hotel front desk Xiaohe is quite willing to chat. It was very convenient to book the airport where Red Dot’s car went.

So this is an old Holiday inn that was rebranded in Sept 2021. No secrets here. When you get in you think it's a pretty nice place, lots of common area that are nice. The bad starts when you start walking to your room. The hallways pipes are leaking and there are garbage cans to catch the water and boards installed on the floor. Most of the room where not even used and kept empty. About 20-30 cars in the parking. Didn't look like they were renovating. Rooms are OK at best, not super clean... Pool was decent for the kids. Le locking outside doors don't all work so anyone can get in at night so security is an issue. A lot of the room where just kept open with swing bar. I could have entered a room and slept there for free with my sleeping bag. Only one of the 4 ice machine was kinda working. Water pressure was so high that it hurt showering. Not sure where they are going with the hotel, it's big and could be nice. We won't be back to this one. Price was ok for 1 night. If you like to walk there is nice trail in the wood just 3 minutes drive behind the hotel, it was lots of fun with the kids.

The room is fully equipped with tableware, cooking stove, refrigerator, range hood, microwave oven, etc. It is quite suitable for self-catering. The front desk service is also very good. I will come again if I have the chance. It is very good.

Came to Sonesta to rest the night after having a terrible day and my day immediately became better off of two interactions with the staff. Danaya and a bartender who I saw from 6-7pm. I was on line ready to check in with a down look on my face since I wasn’t able to return home after working a double at the hospital. As I go up to check in I’m greeted with this amazing energy, positive attitude, vibe and aura that can immediately make you smile after just a couple of sentences. This person is Danaya. She made my day so much better after just a small conversation. I did come back down later to drop my girlfriend off to her car and again me and her both were greeted with the same energy that I had received a couple of hours earlier. I do believe that every job and every place deserves someone like Danaya! The amount of joy I received after checking in truly made my night so much better and I wish her all the best! I wish I had asked for the bartender’s name who made me a Caribbean rum punch! I sat down after speaking with Danaya who told me about happy hour, and ask the bartender for his favorite drink since I had just turned 21 a week/ 2 weeks ago. He immediately went to work on the first drink I’ve had out of the many I’ve had in this short time that I enjoyed. I’m not big on Alcohol since I’m just now exploring it but the one he had made for me was amazing. With his cheerful attitude and quickness of the drink I was definitely grateful for him being there! Wish him all the best also! The room was amazing and something not many people realize is how important it is to have such good water while showering. I feel like it’s always overlooked but my shower was fantastic here. The king sized bed I had was like sleeping and a cloud and the channels they had were great to watch. Tv was amazing and everything was clean. The window has an amazing view! This hotel is amazing. From the rooms, to the guest and to the staff that do their best to provide nothing but the best service you can receive. Any hotel can offer a bed to sleep on and a happy hour but none do it better than Sonesta! Thank you to all who work there and I wish you the best in life. And another personal thanks to Danaya, the bartender who served me, and to whoever cleaned my room before and after my stay! I wish nothing but great things for you guys! This hotel refused to offer the rate I booked online. Refused to believe that I work for the government. Spent 15 minutes in the back leaving me at the counter only to tell me they would not honour my rate. I'm a silver member. I've never had this issue before. I used the computer to book myself in at a hotel 20 minutes away only to have Joel then say he'd honour my rate plus give 2000 points??!! Why the change of heart?? I have never, ever been treated so poorly at a hotel. The lobby was crowded and it was humiliating. My loyalty to the Marriott brand is gone.

Checking in was cumbersome. The payment had been paid on Ctrip and a pre-authorization of $ 100 was received. Very helpless. No free internet is available, using the internet requires a single charge

In general, it is attracted by the photos on the hotel page of Ctrip.com, and it is too great to exclaim the photographer after arriving at the hotel. Just a small roadside hotel, this price is not worth living.

I stayed in this hotel for my business trip. The location of this hotel is very convenient, easy access to highway and the train goes to Manhattan directly. I used the train to travel Manhattan, it was a easy access to the time square. The room is clean, I was very impressed seeing the staff sanitizing heavy traffic areas. The staff is friendly and when I was there, one of the elevators was broken, but the staff helped us to carry the luggage to the room. Before I left, the elevator is repaired. This is quiet impressive of the service. It seems customer service is priority in this particular hotel.
