Hotel Kabeer

Pahar Ganj Central Delhi|0.41km from Jhandewalan Temple
Dear Travellers, I am taking time to write a review for this hotel because of our terrible experience. our stay was in July 23 2019. We were a party of 14, large group booked five rooms and when we arrived at the hotel, there was a pungent smell in the rooms, one of the room given had water on the floor, not sure what it was. The sheets were not changed and it had even foot prints on it from a traveller putting his foot on the sheet. I have a bunch of photos for your review. This place is filthy and dirty. ***ager is stubborn guy, and staff helpless. one of the things i was told was, is this how you write names? i was taken back by that comment. First thing you arrive at a hotel and this is what you hear. I was told to write all fourteen traveler's names in a box size 2”x4”, so i wrote all first names separated by a comma. That apart, Hotel seems to be built well, however maintenance is utterly lacking. I have contemplated losing all the money i paid and move to another hotel on the same street that seemed to be really nice, i did not check the rooms though in the other hotel. then again i have already paid 10K and it was for a night's sleep, and next morning we checked as soon as we can. It was a five day trip in total and last day's night in this hotel, ruined the trip totally. Lessons learned: Do not trust travel website. Goibobo had 4/5 ratings, which i generally consider good. while google has 3.2 Do not ever book hotels near railway stations. Locality is not good and cleanliness will clear lack.

Breakfast is not available, the waiters are all male, the location is relatively quiet, in the alley, Google Maps are not difficult to find. The service is not bad. After all, the price requirements should not be too high, and there are more pubs nearby. Relatively, this looks pretty good, and it is convenient to get to the streets. The storage bag is also very enthusiastic, saying that no matter how long it can be. The photo was flopped on another phone so it wasn't clear.

It’s next to the railway station… so it’s gonna be much crazier and dirtier than other parts. But if you’re worried about missing a train then I guess it’s ok but really it’s not worth staying that close. Just leave earlier. Don’t expect much from the room. It’s just a room and that’s it. The room we had in the back was quiet. They had a confusing and unnecessary check in procedure. They wanted email addresses and email confirmation in order to finish the check in. Truthfully I would never go back to their hotels just for that reason alone as I spend enough time not handing over my info, number, and emails to companies as is. That I’m a paying guest and expected to also give up that is ridiculous.

The hotel is right next to the New Delhi Railway Station and it is really two minutes away. I decided to go to this hotel near the train station because I decided to go to Agda at 6:20 the next morning. As soon as you enter the hotel, you will have juice and mineral water on the waiter. Ctrip booking is simple and fast. The facilities in the room are also complete, simple and comfortable.

Very good place for a stopover/ night halt for connecting trains if you are travelling by train from/to New Delhi station. Walkable with family, even with luggage. You simply have to cross the street and get into a narrow alley (taxi cabs cannot get in, only autos/ totos can). Street food and convenience stores abound. Hotel room (we stayed in 101 - one double bed and one single) is spic and span, very cosy. We were 3 adults and 1 kid. Food was good and tasty, though options may be limited vis-a-vis the menu. ***y alternatives are there outside, but was not confident to try out as we had a kid. The hotel also packed food for us for our onward train journey.

Yes, I did not come to pick you up once. The hotel also paid the difference for me.
