Solo trip to visiting Yale. The hotel location is in the downtown and also near the training station - a just few minutes drive.
The view from the hotel room is amazing especially during the sunset.

We arrived at the hotel after 11 PM, and the female manager at the front desk was incredibly warm and efficient in checking us in. She was also very kind, giving us a detailed explanation of the surrounding area on a map and even marking the hotel's location with a pen! The room decor was retro, and the bed was very comfortable! Bottled water was provided daily! The hotel is located in the city center, right next to the green, and very close to Yale, just a 6-7 minute walk. For those feeling adventurous, you can cut straight across the green during the day for an even shorter walk! I'll definitely choose to stay at this hotel every time I visit New Haven in the future!

This stay far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is superb; it's a 5-minute walk to the subway station, and there are several local restaurants nearby, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The room was spotless, and the bedding was soft and comfortable – I fell asleep quickly and had a great night's sleep. The front desk staff was exceptionally welcoming and efficient with check-in, even proactively recommending some off-the-beaten-path attractions and tips to avoid tourist traps. The WiFi signal was stable, hot water came out in 3 seconds, and the water pressure was excellent, making for a very comfortable shower. To get this level of service and amenities at such a price is truly amazing value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town!

I was moved from the 4th floor to the 17th floor because the noise on the 4th floor was like a resonant air conditioning duct, and even turning off the AC didn't help. It made my heart race; it was extremely uncomfortable. Actually, I could hear it when checking in on the ground floor, but it was exceptionally noisy on the 4th floor, a low-frequency type of noise. After moving to the 17th floor, the noise was from outside, and I couldn't believe it was as noisy as sleeping on the street. The hotel service was good, but the hardware issues can't be changed. If you are sensitive to noise, this hotel is not suitable for you. The rooftop dining environment is very good, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, but the city's public safety is just average, so it's advisable not to go out at night.

Location is perfect heart of the city. Just walk by Yale University. Rooms are big and very clean. Bathroom is very clear and complete with all needed amenities. Front desk always very friendly and polite. It’s my second time living in Omni Hotel New Haven and will choose again for my next trip.
For those who they love nightlife must live here because it’s just cross the road have best nightlife bars and clubs.
