La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Iberia Reviews

The service was great and the night worker did everything to make things right. He moved us to another room because the television didn't work. The other room half of the lights worked but told the worker and he wanted to move us again but we told him that was okay. We were told that they were getting ready to do rentalvaction that is why we were without clock and phone. The stay was okay beside the problems we didn't do the breakfast.

Front desk man was very helpful and in great spirits.

The rooms were ok.. hotel was ok. Staff was great. However due to Covid, no amenities were available. Breakfast and fitness were out.

No sheets on bed or pillowcases, half the lamps didn’t work

The hotel's environmental sanitation management is okay

We stayed here because we wanted to tour Avery Island. The area was OK. A lot of it was rundown. The actual downtown area of New Iberia was cute. Avery was awesome. The hotel room was a king suite. It was very spacious. The bed was comfortable. Everything was OK except it had a very strong cologne smell, it took at least five minutes for the water to get hot and at 10:00 PM the Wi-Fi was no longer assessable. From what I saw, this was probably one of the nicer hotels in the area.

Now that it’s Comfort Inn I love it. Comfort Inn is great. I just hope it stays that way and not it go unattended like the last Inn. Will definitely be there again

Check in took too long, rooms given were not cleaned, elevator slow, breakfast was ice cold & should not even be offered. Not many other options in New Iberia. Waste of choice and money. Property has been attempted to be renovated but is sadly lacking…..

Nice and clean remodeled property with well-lit parking. Very quiet with a nice size TV for the space. They also offer free breakfast daily AND they are located near an excellent Waffle House.

We were greeted immediately at the check in counter. Paperwork and keys were ready. Fastest check in ever! The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was well maintained and nicely decorated. We enjoyed our overnight stay.

The price was great for the room but the housekeeping needs some work, called multiple times to the front desk to have more towels brought up but no towels were ever brought up. Other than that not a bad hotel.

We ejoyed our stay, the only say i can say needs improvement would be the shower the shower head is so high and the water really doesn't get to hot. The ladies there were very friendly.

They required a cash deposit for the room of $100, who just has that much cash on them? just a heads up.
