I stayed here with my two kids because we were in the area for a funeral. We arrived early and my son opened a door to the upstairs bedroom, which you would think was a closet. It was a resident's room with a mattress right beside the door, no privacy at ALL! It freaked us out to the point, I refused for any of us to shower here. My cousin sent me an article about the place today, and I had to say something about our experience here. The entire place freaked us out! Stay elsewhere! Something about the entire place for us was not right! My kids will refuse to EVER stay here again!

This is a beautifully renovated historic home with all of the old world charm and modern conveniences. We enjoyed exploring the properties. The accommodations are very comfortable. They have all the extra toiletries you would need. I love the coffee bar setup, the ice maker, and the water cooler. You have to have their breakfast because they are amazing cooks as well as bakers. Jess and Kim are amazing hosts and go above and beyond for their guests! The proximity to Williamsburg and all of the history of the historic triangle allows for fun family trips too! It is a wonderful home away from home feel. It is a must visit for the area!

I needed a place to spend the night in New Kent, and Vaiden Inn was exactly perfect. Cozy bed, quiet house, interesting history - and the hosts get bonus points for amazing communication. If I find myself back in New Kent I will 100% stay again!
