Stunning hotel! Maison Métier is beautifully designed with so much charm and character, every detail feels thoughtful and elegant. The rooms were stylish and comfortable, the staff warm and attentive, and the atmosphere truly special. A memorable boutique stay we'd love to return to.

The location is perfect , few minutes walk to the French quarter, close to great restaurants in the business district. The building is nice. Our room was a premium room, it was large enough with a good bathroom. The service was ok but not excellent. Overall we had a great time but not sure we would return again.

The hotel is very beautiful, very private, and has a sense of history. The hotel service is also very good. I recommend the bar salon in the hotel, which is very unique.

We had an excellent stay while visiting New Orleans at the Maison Métier hotel. This was an upgrade to our stay offered by their sister property next door. Ms. Coleman personally oversaw our upgrade and was very attentive and welcoming. We were very well attended to and cared for by the hotel staff at both properties (The Barnett next door). A must recommendation offering a peaceful respite and healing balm from some of the frenetic energy that is New Orleans.

So close to five dots… I really enjoyed this hotel, and as Hyatt Globalists, we got a lot of added value by staying with our status. That being said, I’ll stick to universal experiences. The decor and spaces were so lovely. I adored the subtle snake motif and went on a hunt for them all over. The high ceilings are divine. The super cozy sitting room turns into a hidden bar through a wall or just through a painting. We enjoyed those cocktails a LOT. We really liked breakfast one day- we think the beignets are better than Cafe du Monde, and that day the service was great. Fun to use the rooftop pool and workout spaces next door at the sister hotel. But cons- having stayed at truly perfect Hyatts and other properties, they’ve got a bit of room to bloom here. The windows need soundproofing. The adjacent parking lot gate beeping, grounds workers, and street/street car noise is noticeable. It’s a shame because the interior hall is silent. Special services like morning room coffee and evening turndown service were hit and miss- we got each once- but should have received both twice (a did we need to make some sort of request somewhere? It would’ve been nice to know that if so). One day breakfast was painfully slow and there were mistakes on our order- no big deal as we get free breakfasts as Globalists, but for taking so long and being wrong, it was just not a five dot experience. The valet company was ridiculously slow- and though they apologized profusely for changing valet companies while we were there, it seemed liked they parked in MS. It should never take over 30 minutes to get a car. The presence of a door person is inconsistent- that person would probably help them on this issue if present. The hotel location is decent. If you can walk about a half mile in any direction you’re going to get to something interesting. The street car was always packed, so it didn’t work out as an option for us, but in another season, it might be just fine. Overall, super great character in this hotel, with a fantastic bar. We’ll come back but we’ll be asking more questions and picking much higher rooms.

Stayed at Maison Métier in New Orleans and had a fantastic experience. The hotel has an incredible sense of design and atmosphere — the rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together with lots of great touches. The staff really made the stay stand out. Byron and Kevin were especially wonderful — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made the whole experience feel personal and easy. The speakeasy was another highlight — such a fun, unique space that adds to the overall vibe of the hotel. Overall, Maison Métier has a great feel from the moment you walk in: excellent design, great rooms, and truly fabulous staff. I would absolutely stay here again.

We recently stayed at Maison Métier in New Orleans for Mardis Gras! It is a beautiful boutique hotel that blends historic character with refined luxury in a way that feels intimate and thoughtfully designed. The building itself is beautiful, and the interiors feel more like an elegant private residence than a traditional hotel. As globalist, I was able to use points and a suite upgrade for the 3 nights. The cash value was over $5000 as we were there during Mardi Gras so this was an excellent value for the points! Our suite was stunning, with high ceilings, beautiful furnishings, and a calm, sophisticated atmosphere. Everything felt intentional and carefully curated. One of the highlights of the stay was the breakfast, which was exceptional. As Hyatt Globalists, breakfast was included, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything we tried was excellent, and the quality was noticeably higher than what you typically see even at luxury properties. The coffee service is notable- they bring a carafe to the room when you want. We booked this the night before and it was delicious and such a treat, it made me wonder why any hotels keep pods and coffee makers. There was no waste and it was delicious. They do a wine and cheese happy hour also - we enjoyed that one night also. The location was awesome- it was a little walk for Mardi Gras, but it was quiet and safe. If you enjoy boutique luxury hotels with character, excellent food, and thoughtful service, Maison Métier is absolutely worth a stay. They did a wonderful job rewarding and treating me as a globalist, would definitely stay again

The Maison Metier is a delightful boutique hotel in the Hyatt system. There is a speakeasy off the main lobby and breakfast was fantastic. A wonderful hotel.

You will not find a better place to stay than Maison Metier. Location? Check. Luxury? Check. Fantastic service? Check. Food and amenities? Check. Imagine…start your evening with a cocktail and some deviled eggs topped with caviar in a quiet, private speakeasy. Then a quick walk next door for dinner at Seaworthy. Return for an oatmeal cookie and sleep in a soft luxurious bed. The music and vibe is so chill and the staff are caring and deliver an u forgettable experience.
