This was my second visit to NOLA, wonderful town. Last year I stayed in a different building nearby managed by a different company. I rebooked the unit again many months ago, yet starting reading really horrible reviews. When friends decided to join me as well on this trip, they booked a unit in the California building. A few weeks prior to my trip, another friend decided to come so I looked into a unit that two people could possibly share and have their own space, bingo, this building hosted by Hosteeva. I cancelled my other booking and booked a penthouse unit that had a bedroom and full bath upstairs and a sofa type bed (not a bed per se, yet big sofa that opens up for people to sleep), and a half bath downstairs so my friend had her own space so to speak. And since she woke up earlier than me, this worked out perfectly since she had access to the kitchen and living room area, as well as the terrace/balcony. We shared the bathroom upstairs for showering, and laundry which was in the closet area. To me, the kitchen was better stocked than expected based upon other rentals (not mentioning names) with cooking utensils and spices (although we did not end up cooking). I booked directly with Hosteeva and they have a local staff in NOLA that does the housekeeping, maintenance etc. To me, Chandler and other staff were terrific in terms of getting us extra towels, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. that I requested up front upon arriving so we had enough for our 7 night stay and didn't have to bother ourselves nor them. Also, a friend who stayed in a different unit with others left some electronic cables/chargers/etc. behind and housekeeping found and set aside. A friendly staff brought me my friends things in a bag so I could then bring back home to give to my friend, which I did (so again, thank you!). Overall, I found the staff very responsive to my requests and getting things resolved. I would definitely stay again and most likely in the penthouse level since to me, the bedroom and unit was quieter than expected in terms of street noise and one definitely cannot beat the location either if you like to walk, near street cars, buses, etc. Lastly, the airport express bus is literally a diagonal walk to the library across a few lanes and $1.25 fare too! Thank you to Carl and Chandler and the rest of the team for a wonderful stay!!!!! PS: maintenance issues happen everywhere and can be addressed/fixed if reported which I did/do when I travel, overall, would stay again and recommend!

Great experience. The condo was much nicer than a hotel and to our surprise it was also cheaper. Located so close to Bourbon St and other attractions we ended up being able to leave my vehicle in a secure parking garage and walk everywhere. Updated and clean kitchen and bathroom. Went to NO for the National WW2 Musuem, which was only a 8 min drive. I personally dont care to much for the city, but the condo made it a wonderful stay. Definetly would stay here again.

Property was great, though the switch for the bathroom fan broke off. Other than that the property was clean and well maintained.

This property looks very nice. But unfortunately, beauty is more than skin deep. After the initial “Wow, this place is great”, reality sets in. The problems we encountered: 1. WiFi was terrible. Front desk person said on Saturday they couldn’t fix it until Monday, but we heard nothing on Monday. 2. Balcony door lock was broken. Security risk. 3. Coffee pot was cracked. 4. Shower fans and a bathroom light were broken. 5. Shower head sprayed water directly onto floor (open door design). 6. Inadequate seating in LR for 5 guests.

Our room (702) had multiple scrapes and marking on the walls, the molding looked like it had been chewed by a dog in numerous spots and the lock on the outside of the door looked like it had been broken sideways and then put back in place. The light was burned out in the entryway and the carpet in the bedroom was disgusting with many many dark, gross stains. There was no rug in the living area and the furniture was very worn! It was not decorated and looked NOTHING like the pictures on VRBO. The shower looked moldy as well. We called and had the building manager come and look at the room. She said she could move us to another room and showed us 2 rooms and gave us a choice. Both rooms looked good. We chose the room that had just been painted and restaged with brand new furniture. What a difference! They did take care of us and it ended up being a great location to walk to the French Quarter. I did feel safe but I will echo the recent review that the outside door to the building is unlocked 24 hours a day. The only reason I booked this building is because of the positive reviews so I wanted to give a realistic opinion. I was VERY unhappy with our first room but the building manager was so very nice and helpful and I ended up with a newly updated room. Soooo......you just don't know what you will get!

T.V did not work, freezer did not make ice. No internet and no close parking available.

It was a great place to stay!
