We had an amazing stay at the Kimpton Fontenot while in NOLA for our family vacation. Staff was all top notch and accommodated anything we needed. The food and service at the restaurant and coffee bar was fantastic. The property is beautiful and our suite room was perfect for what we needed for the week. Everything is clean and well maintained. We had a mix up with our final bill where we got charged daily for their valet parking, when we actually parked in a garage down the street. They responded immediately and refunded us those charges with no hesitation. I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel and its staff. We would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel was beautiful, the staff were very attentive and kind.

Service was great. Hotel is a bit tired …. Paint chipping and stains in carpet. Would be nice to offer cofffee in lobby earlier than 7. The closest coffee shop is only a 5 minute walk but doesn’t feel too safe early morning

Hotel is located a short walk away from the French quarter and the waterfront. Has the feel of a smaller hotel, with amenities you expect in a larger one. Comfortable public areas, and restaurant, a nice touch is the wine and canapes served each evening. A number of good restaurants within easy walk of the hotel. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable, only downside was our room (808) had a noise from an external air conditioning unit on a neighbouring building.

I was visiting NOLA for a large conference and decided to take a chance and book the Fontenot rather than one of the "official" conference hotels, and I was so glad that I did. First, the location (about halfway between the conference center and the French Quarter) was ideal. The area is safe, an easy walk to attractions and near several restaurants. Second, the room was larger than I expected with a clean, cool vibe. However, the real highlight of my stay was the staff. From check in to check out, and from the coffee shop to housekeeping, every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful, sometimes going above and beyond. As I was waiting for my taxi after check out, Ray chatted with me about the city and a gentlemen from the coffee shop offered me water while I waited. I would happily stay here again in the future.
