I was here for six nights, and had a good stay. This is not a cookie-cutter hotel--some of the rooms can be quirky (i.e., no windows, and apparently some are noisy, but that wasn't my experience), and you need to approach it with that knowledge. If you want everything predictable, there are plenty of Marriotts and Sheratons nearby in this excellent location. I found the staff to be attentive and helpful (especially Victoria), even during an extremelly busy time (Jazz Fest). If you want your room cleaned every day, I'm sure you can get that if you ask. Otherwise, housekeeping will come every two days or so. The hotel is attached to a superb restaurant (one of New Orleans' "name" restaurants), which is an added plus. There's also a small but adequate fitness center (has a wide range of free weights and a few machinges). If you study the website, which is candid about the types of rooms, you can tell if the hotel is for you. It checked all my boxes, and I would stay here again.
