The Windsor Court

The location was perfect, so close to the French Quarter, great food, and the water. Great welcoming service started when we arrived in the rental car. Bell hop was very attentive and full of answers for our questions of the area. We visited the pool and it was nicely arranged with several seating options. We did not order food but it was available along with your choice of beverage. Service at the pool was very friendly. We were also visited at our room asking if we need any water, room service, or anything else. We did use the concierge for dinner suggestions, and the food was great! The Windsor Court Hotel does offer a few restaurant choices however being in New Orleans for one night we wanted to experience its culture.

The Windsor Court is my favorite hotel anywhere – especially in NOLA! The location, staff, suite layout, amenities, doormen, Club Floor lounge, lounge staff, and food/drinks are top notch! Every staff member greets you with a smile and kind word. We stayed recently for four nights in a Club Premium Suite to celebrate a birthday. We arrived back in the room one night to find champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and a birthday card! The view from our balcony allowed us to watch the boat traffic on the Mississippi River. This was our 5th stay over many years and it is always perfect. A special shout out to Megan Uram Plauche. Also, a big thank you to Christopher and Marissa in the Club Lounge for their exceptional service and warm and caring hospitality. Extra special thank you to Kaomi in the Club Lounge for making the best Kahula Mud Slide I have ever had! The area is very walkable. ****** across the side street, Mother’s (NOLA local food) a few blocks away, the best charbroiled oysters at Dragos in the Hilton nearby. Easy walk to the WW2 Museum – highly recommend the Beyond All Borders movie. Close to the River Walk and Shops and of course Café du Monde. Also, highly recommend Mansion's Luxury Car Service for airport transfers. Can’t wait to come back!

This is one of the nicest, friendliest, most perfectly located hotels I've stayed at. Additionally, I ended up delayed in my return home as a result of sudden tornados in New Orleans. The team at The Windsor Court arranged for me to return from ten hours at the airport for an additional night without question. They welcomed a very weary traveler with open arms. I won't stay anywhere else when I am in New Orleans again and I will look for iPreferred Hotels when booking further travel.

This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in, and that is saying a lot. We spent a week in a deluxe suite, and everything about the room, and the hotel, was beautiful. Loved the paintings throughout the common areas. But the best thing was the staff; the service was truly world-class. At the beautiful pool, the spa, the restaurants, the front desk, the staff were all top notch. At this point we are looking for great experiences and this hotel was a home run.

This is the place to stay in New Orleans - when you want top class and none of the trash that can fall at your feet in NOLA. I love this town and I love this hotel - the service is amazing - they know your name and treat you like friends. The bar is a must - polo lounge with piano on some nights. Can’t wait to go back again.

Just a classy, comfortable old school vibe of a place. My wife and i took out 23 year old son and got the big suite which has double doors splitting the king size bed room from the living room with a big pullout sofa. The setup was perfect for us. The room was maybe in need of a slight update. The TV was archaic and I would have thought hard wood floors instead of carpet would have matched the vibe of the hotel. But everything else was first class. You are a 10-30 minute walk from just about everything you would want to see. You are a touch out of the way but we didn't mind that and we always felt safe. I highly recommend.

The hotel is located in a great , quiet, location. We arrived after midnight, and I had called to let them know how late we would be and to hold our reservation. Upon check in we found out that our room had been upgraded, which basically meant changed to a room with a sofa bed instead of 2 queen beds for my children to sleep on. After 15 minutes, and watching another family check into their queen room, we were told all they could give us was a queen accessible room which was fine with us. At almost 1 am , we got to our room to find a huge dustball in the entry and half drunk drink in the fridge, lampshades askew, lights flickering, and the sink drain not in. The hotel in the morning, couldn't have been nicer and turned it around. Gave us a massive room, credit, food allowance and made it right. They moved our things for us while we were out. The rooms are a bit tired, and the tubs are in need of repair. The lobby, fitness room, and pool are very nice.Great stay overall

The rooms are extremely nice and the staff attend to your every need. One of our favorite hotels to stay at. The food at the restaurant in the hotel and their coffee bar/market is exceptional. Their afternoon tea service is one of our favorite things to do here. The location is perfect, as well.

We happened upon the Windsor court on our first night in New Orleans when we visited the bar for live jazz music. We were so blown away by the hotel that we called our other hotel and cancelled the remaining two nights immediately. Every single staff member here (even the night staff) went above and beyond with every interaction we had, and they all seemed to genuinely want to make your experience better at every turn. The live jazz in the bar was top notch with people dancing in glamorous attire and the bartender was amazing as well. We checked in the next day after leaving our other very disappointing hotel and immediately felt relaxed and cocooned in complete luxury from the lobby to the roof. We got a club level premium suite with two queen beds and a pull out couch and we were so happy with our choice. It was perfect for three friends and the staff would make sure the pull out couch was perfectly made up every night when we got back. The club level was a lifesaver to be able to have breakfast or an afternoon snack with all the drinks and bottled/canned beverages you want included. There was hardly ever more than 3-4 other people up there at a time so it feels like you have a bartender/barista working just for you. Everything at this hotel blew us away, with zero exceptions. The spa was 10/10 with outstanding treatments and skincare products, the pool and the bar were both lovely and well attended. Our favorite thing about the place was the service. We were greeted with smiling devoted staff everywhere we went, who diligently helped us with any request and went out of their way to make our stay as great as possible. This is truly a five star hotel without the pretentious and cold attitude that some of the other five star hotels have in New Orleans. We are coming back this year just to stay here and visit our favorite jazz bars, but we may not even leave the hotel!
