This is a fantastic place to stay in the heart of the French Quarter area. Very comfy hotel rooms with a nice bathroom and coffee making facilities inside the room. Would definitely stay again if visiting NOLA.

Made a reservation through Orbitz for 1-7 may, but had to cancel, understanding that there would be a one night penalty of 230.03 according to the documented cancellation policy on the orbitz reservation. However the hotel billed my credit card for the entire stay, approximately $2500. I have contacted Orbitz for assistance. Hotel has not responded to my multiple attempts to contact them. Hotel has not responded to Orbitz.

Hotel is old but the position is great. Room was adequate but on 2nd floor carpet in hallway was damp and a carpet dryer was running outside my room. I had to request it be turned off a couple of times so I could sleep. The rest of the property was nice. Staff were nice except for my checkin. She seemed disinterested and unfriendly. Overall it’s a good hotel but I’d stay on a different floor due to the dampness.

the room was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly, and we felt safe in the gated courtyard area where out room was and the courtyard was very beautifull, but the room didn't look anything like the picture of it on the website, also the bed was rock hard and only marginally better then sleeping on the floor, also the room was very humid the whole time, even more so then the outside humidity leaving everything feeling damp all the time, and the biggest issue was the broken shower door that would not stay shut unless you held it shut while showering, we where told maintenance would be out to fix it but they never came
