Wyndham New Orleans - French Quarter

The room was adequate. The bathroom needs to be refinished and updated badly. The air-conditioning was set at 60° and never got really cool. The sheets were very itchy. Housekeeping did a great job with cleaning. Staff was very friendly.

Room was good, location is not bad but just be careful at night.

Avoid this hotel at all costs unless you want to be charged $600 for their faulty smoking censors in their rooms. I was charged $300 and so was the person staying in the room next to me and neither of us have ever smoked. We tried to clear it up with Leah Alday at the front desk but she was no help and said we needed to dispute it with our credit card. We asked for a number to file a complaint to avoid this happening to anyone else and they gave us a number that got us nowhere. I have never had this happen at any hotel and will never be staying at a Wyndham again. The worst customer service and it ruined the end of our trip. Stayed w/ a group of 12 - very disappointing. Rooms were outdated (cracked popcorn ceilings), and one had a roach. We were wrongly charged a $300 smoking fee and the staff refused to fix it. WE DONT SMOKE! Said it could have been our hair tools!

We stayed here this past weekend for a wedding. Great location. The lobby smelled amazing. Still trying to figure out the scent. Front lobby staff where very friendly. Valet and the guy who bought my luggage up not so much. Didnt speak back didnt help me get my luggage out of the car. No microwave or fridge. Room was a bit outdated and not as clean as expected. But overall it was decent and was good for the weekend. I would stay there again.

The room was perfect for 3 old gals on a 4 day Girls trip! The service was great, the room was comfortable and the location was within walking distance for everything we were interested in seeing! Brennan's and Antoine's was a couple of blocks away and Bourbon St was even closer. It was definitely a great choice. Have to give 5 stars to the restaurant next door too! Mr Ed's Southern Kitchen was excellent! Oysters were some of the best I have ever had and their horseradish was the hottest I have ever experienced! Perfecto!!!

Loved our stay here. Friendly staff, great location, comfortable rooms. Indoor pool on the 10th floor. We were able to walk most places from here in under 15 minutes.
