Had a fantastic time at the montelrone, we stayed at two hotels whilst in New Orleans and this was by far the best. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially the door men. We even found ourself coming back there to use the bar even when we were staying in the another hotel for the second part of our week.

Everyone was very good and made our stay very pleasant.
It was quite unfortunate that it was so much trouble to have someone come to clean our room the last day/
It was also very unpleasant to interact by phone with a young lady at the front desk in the early afternoon of our last day. This person needs help with her skills. The behavior was inappropriate and in dissonance with the performance of everyone else.
We will return to Monteleone next time we visit New Orleans.

Everything was above par. Our only suggestion is to raise the quality of engagement with the concierge. They were not as warm and engaging as other staff. Criollo was superb!

I have stayed here many times over the years and it continues to be one of the best in New Orleans. The staff are professional, friendly, and amenities are excellent. Earl was incredibly attentive as the pool operator. It would be great if the hotel would keep the heated pool area bar open as the Carousel bar is now impossible to get a seat at.
