Parking problem

I always feel at home at International House. The lobby and bar is quaint and beautiful. I love that I can go downstairs in the morning in my PJ’s for the morning coffee service. The staff is always so friendly.

The staffs are very friendly and accommodating.

My wife and I stayed at International House Hotel for 4 nights last week. To begin with, and before we booked in, I had a few questions about the luggage and room location and i e mailed the hotel direct. The response from Christopher Grier was almost immediate and he answered all my queries straight away. We needed a room on a lower floor for religious reasons and this was provided for as requested. Christopher was amazing. They also allowed us to leave our luggage there as we arrived a few hours before check in. And they allowed us to check into oyr room an hour prior to check in. Location was excellent with a 2 block walk to Canal Street and few minutes from there to Bourbon Street and The French Quarter. Everything was very accessible. The check in staff were extremely friendly and helpful and there was nothing too much to ask of them. The room itself was clean and well appointed and was a nice size. the bathroom was big but did not have a separate shower- the shower was in the bath. I would have much preferred to have no bath but a nice sized shower- I always find it a big effort to have to climb in and out of the bath when showering. The hotel should consider upgrading their bathrooms. Although there was no coffee machine in the room, which is preferable, there was coffee available downstairs until 11am. But is always better to have a coffee machine in one's room for convenience. Generally the rooms are a bit dated, but I think that most of New Orleans is pretty old and dated. The furniture in the room was dark wood and the side dressing tables were dark metal. Overall however we had a great stay and I would recommend booking into this hotel- I think it was very good value for what we paid

Great location for walking to the Hilton conference center during the day and the French Quarter in the evening. Safe and quiet. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. My suite was spacious, lovely, clean, and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Overall, my experience was great. I do wish the bedsheet that separates you from the mattress was tucked underneath and there was a chair in the room. Also, be aware, valet is $42.00 plus tax, not $40.00 like they told me, and they charge $17.70 a night for amenities, which is not included in the booking price.

Great service and beautiful hotel, was having a great time and planned to come back until my vehicle was stolen. Not only making my last day of staying terrible but making it harder for me to focus solely on my work, due to me having to focus on issues with the vehicle

Room without windows for $560 for two nights, no shampoo, all very dirty. Staff unprofessional, unfriendly and unhelpful. The receptionist lied to our faces. A disgrace for the hotel industry. Take an example from the Hotel Intercontinental, very close to you. We changed there after one night.

Great hotel and great city ! I enjoyed mat stay in New Orleans. That was a very nice experience for me.
