Nice hotel, The front desk Filipino lady is super friendly and good customer service.Workout omelet meal breakfast and shrimp dish are delicious and healthy! Thank you !

It was Mardi Gras week and the hotel was super busy. Pool was great though it’s a little small. Location was fantastic, right smack on bourbon street. They do lack basic amenities like in-room complimentary bottled water for a four star hotel. Desire restaurant has got great food and especially the oysters. They are also a dog friendly hotel, but pet toilet was artificial grass / green carpet located at the basement carpark, which wasn’t very convenient and it smells bad.

Perfect location. Room was comfortable. Staff were excellent. Parking was easy. Will stay here again.

Beautiful accommodations and friendly staff. Best kept secret hideaway in the French Quarter. I’ve been to New Orleans a dozen times over the years and never knew The Royal Sonesta was there waiting for me. This will be the only place I stay next time I visit.

My fourth trip to NOLA was when i figured out I was doing it wrong before. Staying at the Royal Sonesta is like becoming a part of the the show that is the French Quarter. It's a luxurious peaceful hub in the center of chaos. If you stay anywhere else you are cheating yourself. My start wasn't smooth. I asked for early check in but due to some issues it wasn't ready. I waited 3 hours in the lobby and I was fuming. I was ready to walk out. The bell men saved me. These 4 guys kept checking on me, bringing me water, and drink coupons. I finally got to my balcony room but the high step was too much for me so I was really disappointed . Not only that the room wasn't available for my whole stay so the days in I would have to change rooms. The next morning the GM fixed everything. They moved me to a better balcony and o stayed there the whole time. April even sent the key and the bellman up so didn't have to do it. Hotels shouldn't be judged on good days but how they handle bad ones. I ate every restaurant they had, did the jazz club, the beads from my balcony. But the end i knew 20 employees names. It was like going home for Thanksgiving. I will never forget that week as long as I live. Don't cheat yourself of the full experience

The staff were kind and helpful. The “hot” water was hit or miss. Had DND hanger on door for one of the four days, and was messaged if we needed clean towels that day, but otherwise took out our own trash and did towel exchanges in the hallways upon our late afternoon arrivals back to our room. Perused for “room service” info one evening. Couldn’t locate any hard copy in the room until check out. Small QR code given to us upon arrival wrapped around our access cards.
