Arrived late evening no one on duty then had to wait 20 min to check in
No water in the room and bathroom getting a bit dated
No room service or cleaning and safe didn’t work

I called the hotel directly to make sure I was booking the room I was expecting, a room with a balcony over Bourbon Street. I booked online while on the phone with a representative who verbally confirmed my expectations. When I arrived, I was given a 'corner balcony' room that was not on Bourbon Street, not on a corner, and had a view of only rooftops. In short, I paid a premium for a room that was not the room I was told I booked. I asked for price consideration and never heard back from the manager. I also did not get the daily drink and breakfast vouchers when I arrived and had to remind them twice to get them. I will not return.

It's a historic hotel that has the best staff and it was so safe for us! There were security guards checking wristbands at the door.
