Snagged a timeshare exchange for Chateau Orleans for the week of New Year. Authentic NOLA experience in the French Quarter. Cobblestone courtyard, quiet outside seating for provided morning coffee, great staff in an historic building. True New Orleans experience. Fine dining within 2 blocks in any direction and shopping and friendly pubs around the corner. Made sure to visit a favorite spot for brunch, Tableau. Not as well known as some other restaurants, but this Brennan family restaurant is not to be missed. So many great dining experiences available, it’s difficult to decide where to eat in a stay of only a week. Looking forward to our next trip to the Crescent City.

Our unit did not have an oven so don't bring "oven necessary food". A clean comfortable room in an old building that isn't quite sound proof. We had a court yard view with the swimming pool below our balcony. Someone decided to go swimming at 1 am. which created noise that was highly inconsiderate (especially when the pool "closed" at 10pm.)

Lovely little hotel with old world feels. Staff was great and very attentive to your needs. Perfect location in the French Quarter. It allows for privacy and quietness after a long day of sightseeing, yet everything is still very accessible. I will definitely stay here again!

Pool and courtyard area were great and typical of the French quarter However, the inside of the property was creepy and dated Used old fashion keys instead of modern locks on units In general, the unit needed a good cleaning from the air vents to the dog pee. Smell on the carpet. I also was not told that it was a loft unit, and the loft is an accessible to those that are not agile, young, or brave Noisey drag racing on in the evening Location is good, but would not stay here alone as a single woman

Resort was not in an ideal location with respect to Essence festival. Particularly when you're a tourist. Safety is a concern in the area. The Resort was clean but a lot smaller than I anticipated compared to my actual timeshare. Resort in need up modernized upgrades.
