River runs right beside it. I've stayed here many times and the river remains part of the scenic value.

A poorly run, poorly maintained hotel with a staff that has little regard for their customers. Our room was noisy - you could hear water running in the adjacent room. The cleaning staff apparently thought our "quiet please" door hanger was an invitation to bother us and they vacuumed the hall before 9 AM and repeatedly banged the vacuum into our door; they later did the same from the other side of the adjoining room door, and both times their staff talked so loudly that we could clearly hear them. Maintenance was awful - the door didn't fit well and let in light (see photo) and for some reason there was a thermostat mounting plate on the wall with no thermostat attached. And, there was only one trash can. An awful experience. If you need to stay in New Philadelphia, there are other options, and I can't see how they could be worse.

All remolded since our last stay. We always stay here when attending the biannual auction in mt hope. Beautiful new renovations inside!

The place was nice and clean. Had the room right off the elevator, so it was noisy. Breakfast was horrible. Steam table soggy food. The reason I stayed there was because of breakfast. Maybe never again.
