Book in was a little slow due to only one clerk and a lot of people. Room was comfy though for new travellers who don't know about inserting cards to get access to power, it would have been nice for the clerk to advise of this in any event, whether known or not.
There was no kitchenette which made things difficult and filling up the kettle in the bathroom was a little yuck to me. The room had no plates or cutlery, which was a shame. Hotel parking is listed as 'first come first served with paid options closeby' (literally a car park across the road) but people were parked everywhere in the carpark making it difficult to navigate, including parking directly in the left side of the driveway to exit.
Overall it was a decent stay overnight. Bed was comfy and shower was pretty good.

Warm, clean and comfortable, great space, excellent location and amazing access to the walkway and easy walkable distance to great restaurants and cafes. Bed very comfortable and a good 2 day stay. Breakfast was good, parking on-site and free.

Centrally located and with car parking right outside, this hotel is clean and tidy and has 42 rooms. There are also good conferencing facilities. We were greeted by a very helpful and friendly young man (Bessian) and checked into a large clean room with 2 good sized easy chairs and a large very comfortable bed. Breakfast was included and this was served in the restaurant overlooking the ‘Wind Wand’ and the sea again by friendly staff. The food was excellent and plentiful. We had a most enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to New Plymouth (which is also a lovely place to visit - especially the park)
