The room was tiny. 1/6th of floor space taken up with an enormous built in wardrobe. Because of the slope of the roof, I couldn’t stand up to go to the toilet, for the same reason the shower was impossible to use and it wasn’t possible to sit up in the bed. The bedroom overlooks a busy road. I guess the room price reflects some of this.

Downstairs and reception was fine but the bedroom was quite shabby. Parking was a bit of a problem at first but once sorted it was fine. Beautiful views from the bar area. iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

This was good value in comparison to prices elsewhere and included breakfast. I took a single room and bed was comfortable and linen etc very clean. Staff very friendly. I have to go back to the area and would definitely stay there again. The menu was good as was the food .Very reasonable deal! Traffic a bit noisy in the morning as on a main road .

It started so well, check in was very easy, very friendly.
I was asked when i wanted breakfast so I asked for 7am as i had business in Croydon to attend to first thing.
I went down for 7am but the restaurant was closed!! And was not manned till 7:20.
the person manning breakfast had a list and the first breakfast was 7:30
Communication by that one individual was very dissapointing

i stop there a short while ago room at the back a pleasant stay.
this time in front very noisy buses cars and the when the toilet next to my head board was flushed bed as i moved was very noisy bed felt like it had a slope and kept slipping to side i told the young man who took my keys and told him why after only one night was i not staying the next night

Working in the area and booked because they start breakfast from 7am. A note of this was made when I checked in also. No signs of any staff the following morning up until when I had to leave at 7.30am. Room was dated and tired. Very uncomfortable noisy bed. Window and door rattled all night.

The matresses had springs sticking in you, the room was so cold I slept in my clothes, the radiator in the en suit was really noisy and the one in the room wasn't working properly. The actual pub is lovely the staff were lovely won't stay again though.
