Although the room was a bit small, it had a microwave, an induction hob, and a small sofa. The hotel also has a laundry room in the basement (paid, $7 for wash and dry, similar to a self-service laundromat outside), so the facilities are quite complete. The location is in Midtown Manhattan, within walking distance of Times Square, Penn Station, Macy's, and many convenience stores and small supermarkets nearby. I recommend Target for an electric kettle (a dozen or so dollars, you can throw it away before returning home, an essential for Chinese travelers 😂). One of the biggest hassles when traveling in the US is the unfamiliar food and difficulty ordering at restaurants. The hotel included breakfast, and even though there wasn't a huge variety, it covered one meal. Plus, the microwave was a lifesaver for our 'Chinese stomachs'. There are coffee machines in both the lobby and the rooms, available at any time, and the lobby also offers hot chocolate and tea bags. The only downside is its location in Midtown Manhattan, which means more homeless people in the area. A few of them were often right outside the hotel entrance, so it's something to be aware of when passing by. Otherwise, this was the hotel with the most satisfying facilities during our trip.
