Was SO excited to stay here because this is my childhood neighborhood and booked 7 nights. Unfortunately, beyond an excellent check-in and one great dinner, everything went downhill quickly. When I arrived, Johnny at the front desk was wonderful - warm, welcoming! At Aliya, Vivian was incredible and the food during my first dinner was delicious. The service that night reflected true hospitality. Breakfast was consistently disappointing. On my 1st morning the staff seemed more focused on chatting loudly about the US Open and using their phones than serving guests. At one point, the server sat down to eat with their hands and then got up to prepare drinks. They also opened a plastic bottle of orange juice and poured it into a plastic cup, which is wasteful. Even seated guests were being served coffee and juice in disposable plastic instead of reusable glassware. The 2nd morning, no one was present at breakfast despite guests waiting. After a 5 mins we went to the front desk and were told there was only one person, likely in the back. After more waiting, most of us ended up leaving without being served. The 3rd morning there was efficiency thanks to Ashley, who worked quickly and effectively. However, she was by herself handling a sold-out hotel at peak breakfast time and the wait was long. After that, I never returned to breakfast again, and all of my breakfast vouchers went to waste. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. Returned to my room at 4 PM on the 4th day, and it had not been serviced and was late to dinner. On another night, had requested that my sheets be changed, but when I returned to the room they had not been touched despite waiting patiently in the lobby to give housekeeping space. The amenities were another low point. On one afternoon the pool and restaurant were closed for a private event without any notice to guests. That meant no pool access, no restaurant access, and not even a place to get a glass of water at 4 PM on a Thursday. While a staff member offered me a glass of wine instead, I was surprised to be charged $24 for it. Given the $40 per night resort fee, it felt inappropriate to charge guests full fees while restricting access to basic spaces and not communicating in advance. The front desk offered to remove the resort fee for that day, but was still charged for it when I checked out. Adding to the frustration, the rooms are noisy. The combination of the HVAC system, the nearby expressway, and the pool area made it difficult to rest. Finally, the checkout experience sealed my opinion. Midweek, I had asked that my status be honored with late checkout, and the front desk had agreed. On the final morning, even with the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, housekeeping knocked and told me I had to leave immediately. When I called the front desk, was told the hotel was at maximum capacity and needed to check out right away. I skipped a shower and rushed to pack, requesting a bell cart to move my luggage. 20 minutes later

My family and I just came back from staying one night at Hotel Indigo and we had a great experience. Here are the things we loved: 1. The pool. Truly a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience. We booked through the hotel’s website and it was very apparent that the pool had kids hours (9-1). We planned accordingly and enjoyed the pool for two hours on the day of check-out. It is tucked away in its own entrance in the lobby. You sign in, get your towel, and head on up! There was a bar and coffee drinks for purchase. Complimentary water was outside for everyone. Staff was great. Pool wasn’t crowded. There are a limited number of deck chairs but we got there right at opening and we could grab one of the unreserved ones (apparently you can reserve deck chairs, but I don’t know the process for this). The water was HEATED (not a hot tub but comfortably warm) and only 4 feet deep. It was great for my 5 and 7 year old boys. There is a shallow area that would also be great for babies. 2. Friendly staff. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. I called ahead before our visit and had several questions that the front desk person (Anaise) was very happy to answer. She gave us a complimentary later check-out (12PM) so we wouldn’t be rushed at the pool in the morning. 3. Nice room. We had two double beds and the beds were decently comfortable. We really liked the bathrooms. This room was designed with the user experience in mind. For example, this was the only hotel I've stayed at where there was enough plugs. Two plugs next to each side of the bed in addition to an alarm clock had space for two charging cables. Additionally, there was a flat ledge above the beds that you easily place your phone, kindle, water bottle, flash light, etc. 4. Convenient parking. We drove down to NYC and parked our car at the garage next door (not affiliated with the hotel). It was literally right next door and $37 for the 24 hour period. They got our car down in less than a minute after we checked out. 5. Location. There is a subway station right next to the hotel. We didn’t use the subway this trip but if we did it would have been very convenient. Also, the hotel is walking distance to several great restaurants and coffee shops (we loved Sweet Chick and Qahwah House). 6. Hotel food and drinks. We didn’t end up eating at the hotel restaurant, although it looked appealing (we didn’t think our kids would be quiet enough for a nicer restaurant), but I got a drink from the restaurant bar and took it to our rooms (since the lobby bar closed at 9PM). A few areas of improvement: 1. Mini-fridge. Our fridge was a bit wonky. It wasn’t cold enough when we got to the room so I turned it all the way up and it froze our half gallon of milk. Maybe user error? Either way, it would have been nice for the fridge to have been on when we got into the room. 2. Not enough snack options. The hotel has a few healthy snack options downstairs, but it would have been great if this was enchanted to hold cartons o

We visited Indigo Williamsburg in December of 2025. Check-in was uneventful, and we had a sparse but clean, nice room on the 6th floor. This is a convenient spot for Williamsburg, with a subway station right outside the door. Walking was also easy for restaurants and a nice market across the street. Note that there is almost no drawer space for your clothes in these rooms. There were two small drawers available. That's it. There is a full length hanging area that was fine. Bathroom area is recently remodeled and is great. As I said earlier, the room was clean, and the thermostat worked well and kept the room comfortable. The beds are very firm. We asked if they had a mattress pad, and they said yes, but unfortunately, the hotel was sold out and they didn't have any left. Ugh... There is limited access to food and a bar, which are only open some days of the week and limited hours, except for the lobby bar, which has better hours, but not after about 9:00 pm. All the others closed significantly before their posted hours, like hours before them. Servers at the lobby bar were not friendly at all. We observed interactions with other guests and it wasn't good. After trying them the first night and next day, we opted for Kellogs, which is 100 feet away, or a number of the other really good restaurants and bars in the area. There are no ice machines in the building to get ice from, even though there is an ice bucket in the room. To get ice, you call the front desk and someone brings you a bag of ice, which worked most of the time, but we waited too long other times. Maybe a minor blip, but an inconvenience just the same. Some front desk staff was very helpful when we asked for simple things, others were rude. This hotel is severely understaffed, and unfortunately, it is reflected in the service that they are able to provide. We are IHG members and are accustomed to better service. This experience didn't live up to that expectation.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We stayed here for one night and it was an absolute nightmare. We found a bug on our headboard, another bug on the corner seam of the bed, and to top it all off, there was a visible bloodstain on the headboard. Yes—BLOOD. I have photos of all three, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. When we informed the front desk in the morning, they brought out a manager—Chandler—who offered no urgency, and definitely no real resolution as if this wasn’t a big deal. His idea of “making it right”? Offering us $10 water bottles. That’s it. No refund. No room credit, just overpriced water and a complete lack of accountability. Since then, I’ve tried reaching out to hotel management multiple times for a proper follow-up or explanation and have been completely ignored. No call, no email, no acknowledgment whatsoever. Clearly, guest health and satisfaction are not a priority at this place. DO NOT stay here. If you care at all about cleanliness, professionalism, or basic decency—go elsewhere. This hotel is not only disgusting but also dismissive and negligent when serious concerns are raised. Absolutely unacceptable. Avoid at all costs. ** UPDATE: ONE whole week later a manager FINALLY calls me back after countless emails and messages still not true resolution. I had request one of my calls with someone at the front desk a copy of the pest report since they had someone come inspect the room. I have not received a copy of that and it does not seem like I’ll be getting one. They told me the pest control did not find the bugs I had mentioned. Yes, I killed them and flushed them after taking the photos. Still not accountability.
