Spent an evening here whilst we were walking along the Cheshire Gritstone trail. All was great. Room was very comfortable and big enough for our needs. It was great to have the chance to speak to the landlady and to hear about her plans for the hotel and something of its recent history. I would happily return to see how things are working out. All the early signs are positive. How lucky Astbury is to have such a great pub/hotel. Thanks for peerless hospitality - Toscana style.

Fantastic food and excellent service. Lovely beer garden. Sat in the restaurant which is very comfortable and the rest of the pub is too. Landlord, landlady, chef and all staff are very friendly. We will definitely return and recommend to all our friends.

We had a post funeral reception at the Egerton Arms & could not have been more pleased with the buffet. The food was really fresh and tasty, and everything was served and cleared up efficiently by the friendly team.

We called without having booked but that wasn’t a problem. The staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. We both had fabulous starters and main courses but sadly were too full for desserts. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back. 10/10

We stayed here whilst visiting friends for dinner on Sunday. Although we arrived early we were shown our room so we could leave our overnight bag. The room was spacious and immaculate. Plenty of lovely soft towels in the bathroom. Toiletries and tissues. Huge bed and very comfortable. Decor well thought out and lovely and clean. We had a drink in the bar when we returned and staff very friendly. We didn't eat here but am sure the food must be just as good. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Great value for money.

Passed many times without calling in, so out of curiosity decided to pop in. Its a lot bigger than it looks. We sat outside and both had a burger, it was really nice, the lager was good and the service very friendly.
