Beds and pillows very soft (not ideal for us), insufficient clothes hangers, no air conditioning, basic TV, more external noise than expected, maintenance required in fitness suite, making good to decoration in bedroom and public areas needed. Staff lovely, friendly and attentive, quality of food generally good (though basic pre-sliced bread and streaky bacon at breakfast), nice pool (although small) and steam room, river view, positive vibe. Would consider staying again but will check out other room options and spa.

The spa was amazing and in such a beautiful location. The full body massage was so relaxing and professionally performed, I felt like a new woman. The afternoon tea with champagne was fabulous. The staff were brilliant. Will definitely be recommending to my friends and family. I will be back again!!

oh my lord! what a beautiful place!!!!! I sent a reel on instagram to my boyfriend months ago when we first booked our break to the Lake District! We literally booked it the day before we went as my boyfriend wanted to treat me as it is my birthday today! so we went on my birthday eve (13/5/24) and oh my, it was pure perfection! we both said we would HAPPILY spend the day there and we would get a trea**ent! we also ate in the resturant before our sundown session and the food was purely outstanding! It was just what we needed to help relax our bodies after a busy few days exploring the Lake District! we are already planning to come back next year and hopefully bring some friends with us! thank you for ending our holiday on such a high!

We found the staff friendly and helpful , the food was good but the room left a lot of room for improvement ,the bed was uncomfortable the pillows hurt my face, the wallpaper was lifting off the walls bathroom door looked as if some animal had tried to escape and scratched all the paint off ,as for the bed limen we have given better bedding to the charity shop, at £267 a night just for bed and breakfast we exspected a little better ,we have had more comfortable and better rooms for around a quarter of the price some people must have enjoyed their stay,as they were laughing and being generally very noisy until around 4 am ju near our bedroom door.

Where do l start, from arriving till our departure we could not fault anything. All the staff were very polite, friendly and very respectful the room was very clean and nothing out of place. The Spa was very clean and tidy and value for the money plenty to do and the weather really topped it off, l must say our host in the Spa Gina is a credit to the company she could not do enough to make our time very enjoyable and nothing was an issue. The food was tasty and very reasonable. We will definitely be making a return trip. Team Swan keep doing what you’s do best you are all a credit to the company and thank you once again for an enjoyable experience.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning setting. Sitting out on the terrace on a hot summer evening with a glass of Prosecco and listening to a great singer was heaven. Spa facilities were great and the staff very attentive and welcoming. Good food in the pub and lovely breakfast. Cosy areas to sit inside the hotel with comfy sofas. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend

What an amazing hotel, in a great location. Check in was quick easy and painless the girls on reception Summer and Missy couldn’t be more helpful and friendly they really are a credit to the hotel, room was great, we were staying in the Potter Suite room size was great 2 bedroom one with twin beds in and one with a king size. We used the spa for the sundowns and were dealt with my Colleen again couldn’t be more helpful and friendly, breakfast was good as was the evening meal again staff very friendly and attentive. If I had one complaint it would be the corridor lending to the room was a bit shabby.

I can with my friends for a nice day out together to relax and it was such a lovely experience all round. The staff were lovely and it had amazing facilities! I would definitely recommend and I would definitely come again. Thank you very much, we will be back very soon!

Wonderful stay as usual, spa super relaxing, beds sooo comfy breakfast and dinner were delicious definitely recommend.
