Holiday Inn Stoke on Trent M6 Jct15, an IHG Hotel

Very good service

The room was very small and next the day room was not clean, no towels. toilet flashing was broken, breakfast was ready good and plenty to choose. I don’t no we going back again. They staff was very nice and friendly too. Thank you.

Stayed here for the first time ever will never make this mistake again usually stay at premier inns . I left my expensive jacket in the wardrobe when I checked out . When I got home I realised this phoned up the hotel I got fobbed off the only person in my room when I left was the house keeper maid and totally denied it . I know I left it there eventually I got a call from the hotel manager who was going to investigate the matter and ring me back this never happened and now I cannot get in touch it’s like they know my number and are not answering.when you stay away from home and live in hotels you need trust and I have no trust in the staff who work there or the management. Very accommodating friendly staff, very welcoming and understanding.

Clean, quiet room. Nice warm swimming pool. Decent food selection at breakfast. Strong, reliable WiFi. Building felt quite “tired” and grounds weren’t great with view from dining room bit bleak - see photo. Jacuzzi not in use and changing rooms in gym weren’t safe - slippery floor and tiles off wall. Convenient for motorway but nothing special.

Had a nice stay - pleasant reception staff (Libby) and lady welcoming me at breakfast. Clean, comfy room with a good shower.

Just come back from a weekend staying at this hotel. Was in the area for a wedding and this was a perfect location. Taxi into stoke was less than £8. Room was clean but probably needs a lick of paint very soon. No bath and shower head wouldn’t stay in place so a little bit awkward but we managed. Shower screen was not adequate enough to stop water escaping onto the bathroom floor but these were just little things which I did inform the reception staff about so hopefully they get them fixed soon. Overall we had a very enjoyable 2 night stay. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was buffet style with everything from continental, fruits, pancakes, full English, toast, crumpets and a large assor**ent of drinks and all were hot and tasted delicious. Definitely set us up for the day. The room was clean as were the communal areas. Room was serviced daily. Not enough milk coffee or sugar for me but got given plenty from reception to last the stay. Well stocked bar and the location was peaceful with stunning blossom trees. Must shout out to our domestic staff shakira I think the card said she was very attentive to making sure the room was as we needed it. Reception staff/manager Gareth, Libby and James were fab very accommodating to ensure our stay was the best it could be and always had a smile on their face. I’d definitely stay here again. It’s an hour from Liverpool, 18 miles from Alton towers and an hour or so from Shrewsbury so a good base hotel for various areas.
