Always a pleasurable experience! Close to the beach, and great view of the lighthousr from most rooms we have stayed. Great location to shopping, but still secluded! The lounge and restaurant are absolutely convenient, even though being a bit expensive. Very nice room and amenities! Needs some upgrading, though it is minor. Will always try to book here when planning a weekend getaway or just a night!

Our stay was great, except maybe the weather over which we have no control. The room was good, clean and had a great view of the beach. The front desk staff were really helpful and friendly.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The room was great. Very clean and spacious. The barn door to the bathroom didn’t close all the way, and more privacy in there would have been nice. The staff wasn’t very friendly and one was outright rude. The handicap access to the restaurant was not working which really impacted me.

The room was comfortable and clean. Staff efficient and friendly though I prefer getting a printed receipt on checkout rather than through the reservation agency.
Special praise to Marcia who got us in for dinner without a reservation.
That said....the restaurant itself is forgettable. The food is meh at best. For the prices, I would expect for example better coleslaw with the fish and chips, and a nice thick stovetop simmered breakfast oatmeal. These are small things that I have seen done well in family-run diners. We ate there out of convenience, would not make it a destination.

We love this place. It’s far enough to be a get away but not too far. Always very clean with friendly staff and you can’t beat the ocean view or the food in the restaurant.

This place is a gem on the Oregon coast. The view from our oceanside room was like something from a beautiful painting. There were loads of kids playing outside and a fire pit for the parents to view the perfect sunset. The beach was right outside the front door. Cool games to play in the common area in the lobby. We can't wait to come back.

A wonderful property a few steps from the beach with magnificent views. The staff is extremely friendly (look for Nikki and Kym). The rooms are well kept. If you find yourself going to the Newport, OR area, you must consider this a very fine place to stop, and - better still - spend a few days. There is a restaurant and bar - food is very good and service is excellent (look for McKenzie and Karma). Top marks across the board.
