This hotel is conveniently located in a shopping mall, perfect for shopping at Neiman Marcus. The service was very good and the view was beautiful. Saw the beautiful sunset and sunrise.
If you are afraid of noise, tell the front desk to stay in the Star Tower.

The VEA is a very nice property and fully refurbished. The staff are great and the ambiance is very nice. It has a great location across the street from Nordstrom at Fashion Island. But, I don't think we will stay here again. Here are my reasons why: No self-parking. Valet only and it is $60 a day. We asked for a quiet room and were placed in a tower on the other side of the convention space. It was indeed quiet but it is a very long walk and very inconvenient unless you are attending a convention. The room was clean and nicely furnished but pretty small by hotel standards. The bathroom was incredibly small with absolutely no counter space. And this was a Bonvoy "upgraded" room. The shower has a full length window in it facing the bed. There is a door you can pull across the window from the bed area so you have some privacy when showering, but not total privacy. It's SO weird. The bathroom lights and the small LED lights in the stand-alone closet come on with movement so if you get up in the middle of the night, all the lights come on. The room was not worth the $500+ we paid and it was an odd room. But again, the staff was very nice.

Property needs updated. The pool and outdoor pool were beautiful. Our room was dirty with crumbs all over the floor, so housekeeping had to come clean. Needs updated badly and the cleanliness was awful in rooms

I had the best time staying at this hotel! It was my bday weekend and the day I arrived, they explained how they offer shuttle services where they drive you within 3 miles - Reid was my driver and he was so friendly, accommodating and he shared some great recommendations for where I should visit! He honestly made my trip even better! Then Madison, was super helpful with giving me restaurant ideas and I had the relaxing massage from Jaclyn and refreshing facial from Jeri. The hotel also sent up a birthday bottle of champagne with a fruit tray.. I would rate everything 5+ stars 🙂 I’ll definitely be back and I’ve been recommending the hotel to family and friends now too!

Awesome stay. The staff at the front desk went out of their way to get me into a nice room with a view of the ocean. The room was a good size and very clean, and looks like it was newly upgraded (I stayed in the sky tower). I ate at the restaurant late in the evening and the food was good.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience staying at the hotel, it was a beautiful property and the service was top notch. The one that sticks out to me was the large charming blonde man by the name of Reid, put a smile on my face and made me feel right at home on the way up to our room, was there for us at any beckoning call and was able to help us leave with a good taste in our mouth!

This has been one of the most disappointing properties I have stayed at in the past few years. The rooms are straight out of a 1980’s central Florida motel, exacerbated by broken elevators and lackluster facilities. Do not recommend staying at this property.

Our room was not clean. Hair in the bed, feces in the toilet, urine on the toilet, hair in the glass located in the bathroom and ********** on the phone. We requested our room be cleaned while we stepped out for dinner,when returned only the toilet was cleaned but no linens changed and ********** still on the phone. They did move us but to a smaller room.
