The staff here was universally OUTSTANDING! This is old school hospitality. In a world trying to automate you into a point system- this crew reminded me why it’s fun to get out and meet. Jennifer helped me contact Peter who wired my TV to run my cracked screen laptop computer for a massive zoom call in my room. Keeley in the spa was fantastic. The space here was the right size for our group and loved the a**osphere and renovations. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

Hospitality was top notch. It started with the valet, the front desk and later with the waitress. The room had a pleasant view, was spacious and clean. All of this in spite of the crappy weather. Can't wait for my next visit to the area. Will definitely be back and hopefully stay longer.

The staff was amazing, friendly and attentive! The renovated rooms were so nice and all The amenities on site made traveling with our service animal and 8 month old amazing! Had a great Mother’s Day weekend! The new lounge is bright and welcoming!

Overall the stay was nice. I will say the adjoining doors in the room are not very sound proof. It was awkward to hear what you could hear. Felt like someone was in our room with their tv on and using the bathroom. No fan in the bathroom was odd too. I was Disappointed that there are major renovations in May and the partial water view included the dirty water of the not ready pool. Also another renovation excuse was why we couldn’t get room service…that was a bummer. And I had to explain the ‘grand opening’ deal I got that included two drinks. She was very nice to look into it but some kind of note would have allowed a speedier checkout. Not sure I’d come back seemed like there’s a lot of work needed to be done and not my kind of thing to see so much construction this time of year.

This property is fabulous. However, the staff made all the difference in my stay. They were friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. First time visiting Newport. The resort has been remodeled very nice inside, love the nautical theme and very clean. The service was great and also the maid service Was exceptional. The pillows were very uncomfortable. The only issue we had was the only restaurant on site closed early on Tuesday night at 8:45pm. We had to drive out to pick up dinner. I was advised on Sunday the restaurant would be open until 10:00pm. I was disappointed that we could not get food on Tuesday evening at the resort. I understand the resort just reopened two weeks ago. The fire pits on the patio were all on which was very nice touch . The manager did apologize about the restaurant and compensated us.

Wonderful weekend at the Newport Harbor Island Resort. Recently renovated and wow, it felt like a brand new resort! The selection of finishes, design aesthetic was spot on. Colors are soothing and peaceful. The staff was welcoming and helpful in all areas of the resort. Our room was perfect, with ample space for reading, eating and sleeping. The bathroom was perfect, enough room for both of us.

The staff was welcoming and helpful. They gave us great recommendations to places we should go to while we were in town. The food was great, must order the homemade icecream sundae. The rooms where comfortable and clean.
