Awesome property on Goat Island. Rooms are beautifully decorated along with lobby. Love the new outdoor pergola on deck area. Fire pits are on point with evening chill. Staff friendly and accommodating. GM, Mr Smiley always working hard and available to guests. The outdoor setting is amazing.

The staff was very kind and made every effort to provide a comfortable stay. However, it was evident that the hotel and staff is not 100% ready for guests. I wasn’t asked for any type of ID upon check in. Our room was not ready early as I was told it would be.. but the front desk staff was able to find a room for me to get ready in, which was wonderful. Our room was missing its “peep hole” and just had an open hole in the door. The fire alarm went off at 9pm and we needed to leave the room. The front desk staff answered phone calls instead of asking us what was wrong so this was a delayed response to the problem. The restaurant where we had a reservation at 9pm seated us for dinner but the kitchen was already closed. The manager handled the situation wonderfully and we had a lovely evening. The complimentary bottle of wine was also a sweet touch! The room was very spacious and we loved it. Overall we would visit again!

We had a gorgeous room overlooking the water and enjoyed it very much. Staff was friendly. However, they neglected to tell us the breakfast buffet is only offered on the weekends. Doesn't do much good if you go during the week like we did. Also, there were no gluten free options available which was disappointing for the price you pay to stay there.

The staff here was universally OUTSTANDING! This is old school hospitality. In a world trying to automate you into a point system- this crew reminded me why it’s fun to get out and meet. Jennifer helped me contact Peter who wired my TV to run my cracked screen laptop computer for a massive zoom call in my room. Keeley in the spa was fantastic. The space here was the right size for our group and loved the atmosphere and renovations. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

Hospitality was top notch. It started with the valet, the front desk and later with the waitress. The room had a pleasant view, was spacious and clean. All of this in spite of the crappy weather. Can't wait for my next visit to the area. Will definitely be back and hopefully stay longer.

The staff was amazing, friendly and attentive! The renovated rooms were so nice and all The amenities on site made traveling with our service animal and 8 month old amazing! Had a great Mother’s Day weekend! The new lounge is bright and welcoming!

Overall the stay was nice. I will say the adjoining doors in the room are not very sound proof. It was awkward to hear what you could hear. Felt like someone was in our room with their tv on and using the bathroom. No fan in the bathroom was odd too. I was Disappointed that there are major renovations in May and the partial water view included the dirty water of the not ready pool. Also another renovation excuse was why we couldn’t get room service…that was a bummer. And I had to explain the ‘grand opening’ deal I got that included two drinks. She was very nice to look into it but some kind of note would have allowed a speedier checkout. Not sure I’d come back seemed like there’s a lot of work needed to be done and not my kind of thing to see so much construction this time of year.

This property is fabulous. However, the staff made all the difference in my stay. They were friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating.
