Cleveland House Inn

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very cozy and warm during the winter. The building and the furniture is a bit older but the location was perfect, close to all locations for the best places in Newport.

Weve stayed there before. Its an older property but its close to the waterfront. Floors are creaky but thats what you get with a hotel this old.

Was a great overnight stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They had great suggestions for places around town and were very welcoming. The room was small and cozy. The shower was great. The only thing I’d change was the mattress was stiff for my taste, but my partner had no problem.

Everything was great except for the flat pillows. I will definitely stay here again but I’ll bring my own pillow next time.

Very nice room and close to the waterfront.

Great location, historic building, and possibly the most attentive and kind hotel staff I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. While I was a little confused at first by the switched (or in some cases unplugged) lights and the pervasive heat/unopenable windows, they did little to detract from the incredible people, delicious breakfast, and beautiful, well-kept space. In truth, the biggest pros of the hotel were not the room itself, even if the spacious bathroom and large tub were quite nice, but the walking distance to so much of Newport's wonderful attractions and the merciful existence of onsite parking. The staff were communicative and helpful at all times from before checking in to after checking out, and that really puts this place over the top for me. Next time I vacation in Newport, I know exactly where I'm going.

Beautiful facility, great staff, convenient location

The Cleveland House was AMAZING! Beautifully decorated! The bed was so comfortable. Our host was very helpful in recommending restaurants and things to see. WONDERFUL ACCOMMODATIONS! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! :)
