We have stayed at the Mill Street in multiple times. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure their guests have a great stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We love having the complimentary breakfast delivered to our door every morning. We love that we can walk to so many great shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!!

Generally a nice little hotel in a very good location. Rooms a bit dated but clean and nice. Despite a seriously discounted rate I felt that it was still overpriced. If at all it is the location that justifies the price range. Service, room and the building as such fall short. Rooms are sold "breakfast included" which does imply there would be breakfast. There isn't really. First of all, breakfast is delivered to the room, there is no breakfast room/ lobby where one could have it. Secondly, the breakfast choice is the most awkward one I have ever seen. No toast, no danish, no croissant. But a cheese spinach pastry. Seriously. I ended up ordering cereal which was delivered to the room sans milk. My weirdest breakfast experience in the US ever.

The room was a studio unit but more spacious than most hotel rooms we have had elsewhere. The location was perfect for being close to Thames Street downtown within a block as well as near the Belleview Mansions and cliff walk. The help we received from Lori (behind the desk) for navigating Newport and tips on where to eat were spot on, especially grabbing lunch at The Cru to take with us for the cliff walk! The room itself was clean, the Nespresso machine and sweet local snacks were a jewel-touch, and the door-delivered breakfast was a welcome start to our day. The bed, blankets and pillows were comfortable after a walking day. The sangria and lemon water on site were refreshing. There was a spa on site, but we did not explore this. I recommend this based on our experience and will return! NH Dwellers

The staff were extremely friendly as soon as i walked in the door. The welcome bag and continental breakfast delivered to your door were a really nice touch, a little something that you really remember. We got comp upgraded to a townhouse room and it was incredibly clean room. Wonderfully amazing to be able to roll out of bed and have your coffee on the balcony looking over the harbor. Stayed the MLK weekend it has got to be the ultimate stay in the summertime in newport.

Staff was very friendly & suite style rooms were amazing. Welcome gifts and welcome drinks available in the lobby were very nice touches. We also really enjoyed the breakfast service.

Lovely quaint hotel. Friendly staff. Complimentary sangria and a bag of treats at check in. Delicious breakfast delivered to the well appointed room. Comfortable bed. Carpet a little warn but otherwise nice room. Excellent central location. Church bells heard on the hour were charming but could wake a light sleeper.
