Sandford Country Cottages

We were in the Red Squirrel apartment. Comfortable, well decorated and calm. There is a big living room with a full kitchen and a nice bedroom. There was a welcome bag with enough to have our morning breakfast. For our firsts nights in Scotland this was perfect. If i come back in this area i will for sure come back in this guest house

This was our third time staying at Sandford Country Cottages. The first few times we stayed in the Baillie Scott but this time we were in the larger Lady Bluebell apartment, mainly because we had our dog with us. It was exceptional as normal with amazing views, lots of space and a place to relax when we weren't out and about. Evelyn and Ralph have a truly special set up which we absolutely adore.

We stayed here over Easter weekend this year. A last minute booking in the Red Squirrel apartment. A beautiful location, fantastic helpful hosts, can't really find any fault. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with a thoughtful "welcome basket" with cereal and biscuits, and milk in the fridge. Other family members were staying in a larger apartment which was also lovely. Is it possible to give a review of six stars?

An amazing family holiday. Fantastic warm welcome from our hosts and a surprise welcome hamper. We stayed in Baillie Scott cottage which did not disappoint, probably the best cottage for the sun on the evening as it comes straight through the juliet balcony. The cottage was immaculate, and presented to a very high standard, with every amenities you could need. Very comfortable and spacious. More than ample parking, very quiet, and in a picturesque setting. Outside was just as good as inside, made use of the complimentary bbq, kids played in the tree house and explored the grounds. Location wise its also great, we visited several family places close by and all within 30 mins. Almost a direct road to Tay Bridge too giving easy access into Dundee. Thanks Evelyn and Ralph for a fantastic stay, can't wait to return.

Second stay in the Red Squirrel, The superb accommodation is for 2 people, lots of space, very clean and tidy, very comfortable bed. All the facilities you would wish for. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Super welcome and all you could wish for from the host. Already booked for a return in September. Looking forward to using the new barbecue on our next stay. Thoroughly recommend.
