The hotel is ok, old but trying to keep up, it’s at a very good location, many shops and restaurants around. Everything is just walking distance both Towan Beach and Great Western Beach. If you need a public laundry there is also one very close about 4 minutes. In my opinion I think the management should really try to upgrade their facilities because it’s really old, nevertheless it was a great stay.

Because of stuff ups with flights I wasn’t able to get to Cornwall last night so I can’t review the hotel.

We loved this hotel. We had booked a superior sea view room, but what we got was a huge suite. It was lovely and light with a small balcony and magnificent views. The building is old and in desperate need of a complete renovation but you can still feel the past grandeur. I hope it will be restored and so it could definitely be a 5-star hotel. The hotel staff everybody was really friendly and helpful and we did enjoy our stay very much.

A dated property but extremely good value for money out of season with car parking charges only £7 a night. Rooms were fairly spacious with plenty of storage space and tea/coffee facilities and bathroom toiletries and a good tv . Only complaint would be that the rooms would probably be unbearably hot in summer months but lovely and warm in winter.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean hotel. Main area is tired but the bedrooms are bright and modern. The Bathroom tiles floor and wall in our room needed re grouting. Breakfast good. Lovely stay.

We had a room with a Seaview, although the room was small and dated it was perfectly adequate for us. There is no restaurant on site, but this is not a problem as there are plenty of places to eat or within a five minute walk and the hotel is right in the centre of Newquay which is Perfect for going into town or the beaches. The on-site car park is small especially in relation to the quantity of frames the hotel has and may fill up quickly. The view from the breakfast room is stunning and I love the character of the old building. The staircase is beautiful and the rooms are very grand. Will definitely come back and stay again.
