Tasty Beetroot salad with chicken breast, goat's cheese and hazelnuts, the only thing on the menu apart from beefburger which didn't have fish, waitress very helpful, beautiful views overlooking Fistral Beach Newquay, plenty of tables with great views

We travelled from Mousehole to have an afternoon tea here and what a delight it was from the service, the food and drink and the surroundings. Our waiter, Justin was attentive and polite. The afternoon tea was complimented with a glass of Prosecco. The Earl Grey was plentiful. The food was tasty and well presented. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The time spent here was an enjoyable experience that we won’t forget when we look back on our time in Cornwall. Thank you.

I can strongly recommend the Headland Hotel. It was a very good experience from day 1 on to the last day. Very nice surroundings, very friendly staff. Extremely good breakfast and also dinner and afternoon tea. Amazing place at the window for breakfast.

We could not fault our wonderful stay at the Headland last weekend. It was my Mom's birthday and we had afternoon tea on our first day which was wonderful. Agatha and MK were so attentive and kind throughout and every time we saw either of them for the rest of the weekend, they always asked how our trip was going. Yara and Mai at the Terrace Bar were amazing at making all of those delicious cocktails. As was Kezi when delivering them in the Ballroom of an evening. Every member of staff clearly tries exceptionally hard to make every guest's stay perfect and it was so evident in these people. Truly stand out service. I imagine we'll be returning soon. Thank you all so much!

The Headland sets high standards and rarely fails to meet them. The staff are great, the food and service matches and we continue to return. It would be remiss not to especially mention Kai, Sarah, Finlay and the rest of the front of house team. From the RenMor, Ellis, Shub, MK, Justin, Reece and Agatha, who do their utmost to ensure the service matches the food! I'd also like to mention the new young lady in the Terrace, Kezi, on her first week she never stopped smiling or helping!

We spent four nights at the hotel in mid May. We had a coastal view room which was clean and nicely positioned overlooking the Aqua club and it had a better than expected view of the sea beyond that . The room was fine with comfortable twin beds . It was a little warm at night but there was no air con so we had a window open. However it could not be opened wide because of the seagulls . Air Con would have helped which is something the hotel ought to address given its 5 star status. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, the food and service was generally good. We had two dinners in the main restaurant The Renmor and two in the Terrace . Both have lovely sea views if you get the right table. The staff cannot be faulted. Whether in the reception area or restaurant they were friendly and efficient. There was no problem in visiting the Aqua Club, save perhaps the windy and sometimes wet walk across the car park to get there as the weather was hit and miss. Booking was recommended but not essential.The facility was excellent with indoor pools, hydrotherapy, Jacuzzi, basically everything you would expect. We had a lovely stay and would come again. Highly recommended.

We just popped in on spec for a drink. The staff were all super friendly and very obliging, especially the lady in the terrace bar with blonde wavy hair who recommended a cocktail to me and put it in a different glass at my request. The cocktails were delicious, views outstanding and the overall ambience a real treat.

Me and my wife had enjoyed the spa facility, all the staff were so friendly, prior to that a cream tea and a beetroot salad in the terrace; our waitress Kathy was so lovely and so is the host who booked the table for us. We then decided to have a dinner at the Renmor restaurant. The food was so tasty. Many thanks to the hostess who booked a nice table for us and a big thank you to our waiter Justin for his 5* service. Definitely we will come back again..

We stayed for a family wedding locally. The Headland Hotel enjoys a fantastic location. We dined one evening in the restaurant and it was superb. We used the spa facilities and they were also superb and the breakfast…… fantastic choice and quality.
