The Escape Lodge

The hotel is discusting as the the communal toilets there are traces of phices (poo) wiped on the doors and walls where teenagers are lazey to wash their hands and instead wiping it on the doors and walls of the toilets. As for a family of 4 with a little one like me you can't sleep as there are continuous shouting partying and door slamming one respect to other gests a lot of drinking and fighting. For the two nights that I'm staying here I've not had a wink of sleep and need to drive back home 300 miles today without any sleep for two nights the communal bathrooms are covered in mould and meljue it has caused me to have a majer asma attack. I will be calling health and hygiene when I get back home for them to close the hotel down. Never ever stay here it is disgusting. My brand new car was badly scratched in there car park provided and we are talking about a 15 thousand pound car here the teenagers that stay here at this hotel don't care about other guests at all. Will NOT be coming back here ever again and will be asking in the morning about a full refund.

We stayed here as a group of uni students and our whole visit was amazing, the staff (Killian, Jeremy and Joe) were all so much fun and down to have a good time! Bar and restauraunt area was really cool and one night we paid £10 each for a really good quality bbq (burgers and pizzas!) produced by the staff. Only thing is those breakfast egg sandwiches are really not the best The Escape ;) Thank you so much for a good time - exactly what a group of uni students needed.

We stayed at the Escape mon to fri the 31st till 4th June. The bar and restaurant was so clean and tidy, the staff work so hard. The food was great and good prices too. Rooms are basic with a bed and shower, which is all you need as we were out alot. It is a hostel and doesn't claim to be a hotel so cant see why some have moaned on here about how basic it is. It is very close to all bars, restaurants, the beach, the town. Perfect location really. The owner Gerry and his partner are so welcoming. Geramay and Jeremy who work so hard are just lovely people and make you feel welcome and couldn't do enough for you. The owners even had a foreign exchange student for the season, which is great as i did notice them really working with him and showing him the ropes. Very kind owners who have young children of their own. I really dont know how they juggle it all but i was very impressed. Will definitely go again. If your looking for hen and stag do accommodation, this is the place to go. There was plenty of covid signs about and mask wearing, which was fab. Also plenty of hand sanitizer stations, things were getting sanitised regularly.

Me and 10 other lads came here from 3/6-6/6 for a stag party and can say it was a fantastic visit. The accommodation itself met all the expectations for each individual. Very clean and the room was excellent for us. Breakfast which was included was lovely. The quality of food was second to none and would definitely recommend. The staff are amazing. Working hard all day and night between them to ensure we have the best visit and they didn’t fail, especially the young lady and young lad that gave our group the best service. 100% would recommend a stay here for anyone. Will definitely be going again in the future.

The staff were comforting and easy to get on with, catering to all are needs whenever and wherever we needed it. The 2 young lads running the bar all week were professional yet relaxed and may the stay so much more enjoyable. Rooms were ideal for are needs w a simple layout and were idealistic for are 6 night stay

Had a brilliant stay at The Escape with my mates. The staff catered for all our needs and were very friendly. The room suited us and was ideal for our stay. The bar was great with good music and a pool table. Would definitely stay here again, thanks so much.
