Good hotel. Personally I think it’s a little too expensive for what they offer. It’s an old hotel and you can definitely feel that. However, some people like that stuff. Staff were friendly and welcoming which after a long journey is the most important. The room was clean and mostly well equipped to support your stay. Shame we got the road view instead of the beach view.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location is super good. It’s definitely the best place to stay if you want to see sunset at Pentire headland.

Overnight stay due to attending a festival nearby. They accommodated or twin room request and reassured r us that with 24 Hr reception we could check un at any time after we had finished at the festival. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom had a large shower. Decorated in a modern and smart way the rooms are compact which is normal for the period of the building. The very reasonable price included breakfast which was hot fresh and plentiful. The pool and games area was very clean and well taken care of. Staff were very freindly and encouraged us to use the lounge and pool after checkout as we didn't need to be at the festival until the afternoon. I would definitely visit again as we do come to Newquay frequently.

My 8 year old son and I had a lovely 3 night stay during the second week of the Easter holidays. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the bistro on our arrival. Receptionist Imogen was very helpful before and during our stay. Which really put me at ease before we arrived. We enjoyed the use of the pool which was really nice. Our room was beautifully presented, warm and comfortable. Thank you to the house keeping team. This was our second visit to The Pentire Hotel and we look forward to returning.

i booked the hotel as we have stayed there about 5 times in the past and we booked the st.pirran suite for our 36 wedding anniversaray for my wife after her knee replacement in jan well was really let down with the room outdated. needs freshing up big time views were amazing need to add that dust on the skirting boards and the bedding was poor..will say the bed is nice but feel that the price i paid for our romantic break was way to high £270 before we got there and another £80 0n the day never worth it in our eyes room was compact and small the colour on the walls need to be fresh and light thats my view Now on to the staff AMAZING Reception was great but the food area was spot on amazing and very very friendly cant not say enough about them Thank you We love this hotel and it wont stop us going there again but felt a little ripped off on the price for 2 nights

Single sea view room , Best sleep for ages . Comfy bed . Very thoughtful as there was four solo people and They put us on the same table .Excellent thought . Good food selection and choice. Excellent service and staff . Nothing too much trouble. Throughly enjoyed .

Stayed here years ago but looked tired and needed update. Great refurb job, contemporary and tasteful. nice areas to relax, bedrooms with lovely views of fistral beach. Lovely staff, nothing too much trouble. Food in "sixty" bistro was excellent, well priced and good portions.
