Beautiful location, hotel was clean and cozy, my 2 dogs absolutely loved it and slept there like babies after an exhausting trip to highlands’ picturesque spots. Dinner was ok, full Scottish breakfast was very good. Wide range of drinks in bar. Would definitely recommend as an overnight stop when travelling in Scottish Highlands.

Don't judge on first appearance! A little dated, but we loved our stay here. Great location, great beds, lovely staff. Food wasn't outstanding, but for the price it was great - well cooked (chips could have done with a few more minutes) and very acceptable. Service was spot on. Can imagine it could get a bit noisy when hotel full, but 2 coach loads arrived while we were there and all was very quiet in the evening. There are 2 'blocks' of bedrooms with several entrances and we were in a seperate wing from the bus tours. Plenty choice at breakfast - again with amazing service. We will definitely return. Recommend the Museum of Highland Life just along the road. Well worth a visit.

Going off curb appeal, this hotel looks dated with it's pebble dash exterior and dark wood windows, Our room (110) was big enough with a recently refurbished bathroom but could do with new furniture and redec, bed was a bit hard for us but clean, the corridors need new carpets and brightening up as old fashioned, the dinning room was brighter and clean and breakfast adequate, the lounge again had been updated and was nice to sit in , with entertainment on in the evening, staff very friendly, only small problem was when we checked out as this had already been paid for as a Xmas present, the reception presented us with a bill , took while for them to realize their mistake and nothing was owed

Stayed here for 4 nights on coach trip. The hotel was spotless, the bed was comfy, food was amazing. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and so efficient. The setting was so tranquil, scenery was spectacular. There is a beautiful walk literally just across the road, mallard ducks, rabbits and squirrels. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here Easter weekend with our pup Frank. Hotel staff are so welcoming and friendly especially to Frank! Dogs very welcome, don’t expect the ritz when you stay but it’s a perfect base for a weekend away with the dog plenty walks nearby and room was spotlessly clean too. Enjoyed it so much we have booked again for a couple of weeks time.

Staying over Easter was a disaster from the start. We arrived with a disabled scooter on a coach after a very long drive from North Wales. We found that the ramps are too short and access into reception is difficult until a bolted door was undone. When we first arrived we were shown to a room along a narrow rough path overgrown with vegetation so we were given a different room but this again had difficult access as the way to our bedroom was through an emergency exit and along a narrow corridor. We were unable to drive the scooter into the bedroom to charge it so I at 82 years of age had to manhandle it in and out each time. In addition we had to drive outside in the cold and wet weather to get to the restaurant whereas able bodied people were protected from the weather. The bedroom was extremely noisy all night and it is unpleasant listening to other guests using their toilet in the middle of the night and floors creaking.as people moved about. This meant we went with very little sleep for 4 nights. The road from our block was riddled with potholes making riding a scooter every uncomfortable and dangerous due to passing cars. On the plus side food was plentiful and well cooked. Service was too swift and often they tried to remove plates before we had finished eating. Room cleaning was poor and one day we returned to find our soap and dish on the floor and a drinking glass also on the floor. The beds were poorly made and sheets not tucked in. We complained and the hotel admitted that it was not acceptable. Room heating was by an electric heater which made the air very dry. There was no heating in the corridor which made it cold. As we had to exit via an emergency exit were made to feel to feel very second class This hotel does not cater for disabled people or the elderly and so we will never stay there again. I note that this hotel does not bother to reply to our comments. I
