Hotel Bromo Pernai is a big hotel in this area (village) and every map shows the name in it.(They say Lava View Hotel is the most expensive in this area.) I quite enjoyed staying there. There is an electric kettle in the room so you can have coffee/instant noodles anytime. There are plenty of power sockets, which is helpful. Not enough space for hanging clothes but there is a big shelf. There is a big TV but I didn't watch it. There is wifi but signal could be weak as you could imagine. Most importantly, I didn't expect a hot water shower  :)  Not sure if there is A/C in the room but it was September, I didn't need it. Breakfast is too simple, though. It is About 15 minutes walking distance to the sea of sand but you have to remember that hiking up/down isn't so easy as the air is thin. There are lots of eateries nearby and bakso wagons.  When I asked for a sunrise tour, they offered me  Jeep  650 Guide 250 but I think this is the standard in the village.

I put a three because in this hotel they were the only in all Cemoro Lawang who didn't try to shake us with the price and were very friendly but the hotel can improve much.
